on a positive note Moses will be coming back next year with a stud of guys with PT at the MLB spot along with the other ILB who is a RS Sr. Should he want to come back he would be granted a 6th year

He was class of 2017. He could medical this year and would have 2 years to still play. He does not need a 6th year as he has only played 2 years.

LOL I feel like we've been doing the "but man next year will be experienced and awesome at LB" thing for 5 years.

IMAGINE HOW GOOD THE LBs WILL BE WITH A HEALTHY LEWIS, WILSON AND JENNINGS PLUS MOSES WITH PT.

Practice report: Shane Lee leading interior linebackers through drills by Christopher Walsh 17 mins
quote:

Crimson Tide getting two freshmen ready to start at interior linebacker

Alabama practiced inside in shoulder pads Wednesday.

With Dylan Moses (knee) out, Shane Lee was leading the inside linebackers through drills. In all my years of covering the Crimson Tide I don’t think I’ve seen a true freshman do that before.

The offensive line looks set. Landon Dickerson was at left guard and Chris Owens at center.

Senior Matt Womack was at left tackle on the second unit, next to freshman Pierce Quick at left guard and Emil Ekiyor Jr. at center. Kendall Randolph was the right guard.

Still missing among the defensive linemen was true freshman Justin Eboigbe (foot), making it very unlikely he’ll play against Duke on Saturday.

Redshirt freshman Stephon Wynn true freshman end Antonio Alfano went through drills.

None of the four players who will reportedly miss the first half due to a suspension — Najee Harris, Brian Robinson Jr., DeVonta Smith or Terrell Lewis — were doing anything unusual.

Nick Saban will address reporters after practice.

Injury rundown

• Junior interior linebacker Dylan Moses: Out indefinitely with a knee injury.

• Redshirt junior cornerback Nigel Knott: Out indefinitely with what Nick Saban has only described as a medical issue.

• Senior interior linebacker Josh McMillon: Out indefinitely with a knee injury.

• Freshman running back Trey Sanders: Out indefinitely with a left foot injury.

Hats off to you bro' for the volunteer work you do and time consuming work you do for this board.

Yeah, the bad news on Moses really sux. Best things to do are pray for Dylan and rally behind the next man up for our beloved Crimson Tide. Over my many years I've learned to not worry about things I have no control over.

Alabama practice report: How LBs looked after Dylan Moses injury Today 4:21 PM By Michael Casagrande | mcasagrande@al.com
quote:

Practice resumed Wednesday in Tuscaloosa with the Crimson Tide again working indoors in preparation for the Duke game.

A few observations from a shortened media viewing window.

-- All eyes were on the middle linebackers practicing without injured starter Dylan Moses. The first group up included freshmen Shane Lee and Christian Harris followed by Jaylen Moody and Ale Kaho.

-- The other group with unresolved starters was the offensive line. Three of the five positions had co-first-team players on Monday’s depth chart. The drills we saw Wednesday didn’t shed any light on who was with which group.

-- The running back order was Najee Harris, Brian Robinson, Jerome Ford, Keilan Robinson and Chadarius Townsend.

-- Players were in shells Wednesday as they wind down preparations for the 2:30 p.m. Saturday game with Duke.

-- Joshua McMillon walked down the hallway toward the indoor facility a few weeks after his knee injury. The middle linebacker was walking well with a large brace on his injured foot.

-- Running back Trey Sanders was also spotted on scooter elevating his broken foot that was in a cast.

-- Former Alabama AD Hootie Ingram was watching the action from the sideline.

I, for one, do not doubt the talents of Harris or Lee, I do question, no, I worry about their abilities to call the defenses and line the front seven up in the right formations.. Not that any of my worries mean anything to anyone other than me. But, my worries are the OC's etc scheming to run everything across the middle to confuse these young'uns. only good thing is they have a couple games to learn under fire before USCe gives them a good go.. and then a few games later, when aTm wears their young arses out with runs, quick slants, TE's dragging across the middle, etc etc etc.
What doesn't kill ya makes you stronger and while the DB's will take a major hit after this year (draft and graduation) these two young'uns should be all the better for next year, and may very well keep McMillon from applying for a 6th year.
