Unless the pressure is instant and overwhelming Bryce is money.

It has been Kool-aid and JAD, but JAD has been banged up too.

Jobe has been hurt for weeks, but was thrust into action when JAD went down. His injury hobbled him, but didn't prevent him from playing. JAD will be able to play with the extra 3 weeks off. I will admit, I had been giving Jobe a hard time these last couple of weeks - not realizing that he was playing his best through pain. His play was heroic, and I had been criticizing him. Just goes to show ya, we may not have all the facts about why certain guys play and others don't

A wide-ranging write up from SI:

All Things CW: SEC Championship Keys That Will Impact Alabama in the Playoff

The Crimson Tide's next man up at wide receiver may not be obvious, why E.J. Junior has split loyalties regarding the playoff, and an Alabama basketball milestone.

So with the new rule change regarding fake sliding could a play like this get flagged?

I don’t think Young was trying to slide but rules are left up the interpretation by the refs. Maybe one of them thinks he’s fake sliding and flags this type of play?

No. That just looks like a stutter step to juke a guy. Pickett had literally begun giving himself up and popped back up before his knee touched the ground.

Would a fake slide be flagged, or would the play just be blown dead at the spot where the fake slide started?

I agree but refs make stupid calls all the time. I just think some ref might see it as such

Yeah, just saw it come through on BR. Now, some of these schools will have to deal with what we have had to deal with every year.

The NIL stuff going on in TEXAS is going to need a lot of attention from deep-pocketed Alabama alumni. I read a story on ON3 and linked to it in the other thread. They are paying a minimum $50k for IOL through a non-profit.
