I really think Slade will be a nice addition to RB..opens the slot position for speed when he is RB and he can block. Slade catches crap for not being explosive enough..but he has some of the best hands..blocks better than anyother down field and knows the offense. Plus he can catch the ball out of the back field. I would move him up to 3rd back and rotate him in..and move Leary or some speed to slot. Make a mismatch at slot, and slade out of the backfield on a LB. lots you can do with that combination.

I will have to disagree with Coach here. Can’t speak for the players but fans on here and what I have seen at games have been more into games this year than years past bc we are not guaranteed a win and you don’t know what you are getting week to week with this team. Wins are much more appreciated IMO

I think he's spot on about a lot of the fan's entitlement mentality. We have the top offense in the SEC and a defense that is in the top 3. We are 9-1 with our destiny in our hands. And yet many fans have been calling for the firing of both coordinators all season. They've been questioning who is playing and who isn't and not in a reasonable way but in an is Saban losing it way. They non-stop complaining about the team, in what most thought would be a rebuilding year anyway, has gone pretty overboard this season. So many fans have gotten so used to being undefeated or having just one loss while competing for a Natty that they are completely melting about a season where we may end up 10-3 or 11-2 and just go to a New Year's Six game.

Speaking of entitlement, Hoover volleyball coach retired couple of weeks ago citing that the parents were a big part of the problem from his standpoint. Said that the parents are only interested in their kids getting playing time in the position they want. Team goals are not he most important goal for these kids. Article was on al.com recently.

I equate some of these dumbass fans bitching the same way I do Twitter mob reactions. Someone with 500 followers says something inflammatory on the Tweets machine and the press runs with it, "The nation is up in arms about this!" Same thing here. On or two Alabama fans go full retard and the narrative becomes, "Alabama fans growing impatient with Saban!"
