Bama is currently over the 85 by 1... talk of a possible Greyshirt ..but once they arrive at 85 there will also be 2 Covid + Players - B Robinson and Chris Owens..
So 87 total scholarship players

I am not sure what are numbers are looking like going into the fall for scholarships but I had forgotten about the Covid exemption until I heard Dabo's interview the other day. He said they will have 92 on scholarship this fall and that a few ACC teams will have over 100 players on scholarship. He was praising the leadership on his team as he will have 5 6th year players returning and 3 5th year player returning.
Anyone know how many we will have on scholarship?

Did I fall asleep and wake up in October? Some of you guys make it sound like Alabama has played 3 or 4 games already and these "sky is falling" scenarios have already developed?

Holden, Bolden, Baker, and Roydell Williams are all guys who are gonna keep us from winning championships. This is the worst case scenario where a bunch of mediocre players start because of seniority, and never get passed up until they graduate.
Meanwhile we have future first rounders like Agiye and Wheaton riding the bench just because they’re freshmen. This is always the case when we come up short. The only exception being in 2017 when Saban put all of the Freshmen out on the field just in time to come back and win vs Georgia. Look for a similar season. Until Saban sees the light, we are vulnerable

I just read where Chris Allen, Will Anderson and Christian Harris are all on the preseason Butkus Award list. If Henry T starts as expected then Alabama might have all four starting linebackers up for the award at the same time. That is unbelievable. What a recruiting tool.

It's hard to say how impenetrable this defense is going to be, but I think we're gonna see about as good a defense as you can possibly have in modern cfb.

And that is including Chase Young,who wouldnt be willing to EVER make a tackle at the LOS,or Beyond.....
