Texas might give Flood an OC/OL or CoOC/OL title with a higher than normal salary for an OL coach, but Sark will be the real OC.

I fully expect Wiggins and possibly Jeff Banks to follow also. I have heard Saban isn’t too excited to lose Banks though. This will be something to watch. Saban is usually cool if he wants to upgrade a position coach.. Jeff banks Doesn’t follow that narrative. Sark knows he has to win at Texas.. as much as he has done for us, he will be an opposing opponent soon. It’s just the way the business works

Losing Banks would be a blow.

I haven't seen any chatter about Banks going to Texas with Sark.

With the WR class we have coming in Wiggins would be stupid to leave unless it's for a promotion. But honestly I'm good if we can keep Banks, Huff, and Scott.

It seems Texas is set to hire former Longhorns player Blake Gideon for special teams and TEs. That would likely rule out Banks to leave.

lilysm on BOL is usually pretty accurate when he decides to post stuff - he said the only departure he expects with Sark is Flood.
He said there was one coach on staff who would likely be asked to look for other options - don't know who that is.

I wonder if his name rhymes with Teater Holding

Gideon is gonna coach DBs and STs most likely.
Banks did tell them no this week...

Good.. I was going by the Texas board.. on them wanting him and feeling confident, and a player told me Saban loves banks and he won’t let him go easy. Just jumped over there and you are correct looks like Banks is out for them.. Wiggins seems to still be on the list and tosh

I hope we don’t lose Wiggins. It seems like some people on here have been unconcerned with losing him. The man is the position coach who is about to have 4 first round picks in two years, the first heisman WR in thirty years, and has four top 10 WRs coming in the next recruiting class.
Based on the performance of his players and the recruiting at his position, he’s got to be one of the very best position coaches in the country.

I do wonder how that set with Saban.. Sark trying to pull Banks? Reading the Texas board their mods seem to think Sark won’t give up on Banks though..despite being told no. It also seems they are after Tosh.. great recruiter.. just don’t let him call defense

I like Hollomon but he didn't recruit Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith or Waddle. He had Jeudy and Ruggs for 1 year and Smith and Waddle for 2. No doubt he helped develop them but they were pretty elite when he showed up. He also was not the primary recruiter on any of the WR commits. He was the second on all of them so again not dismissing him but Banks, Huff, Scott, Sunseri and Saban are the closers. I want to keep him, but I think an ambitious young WR coach can fill his shoes. Plus Gattis might need a job
. Saban is all about forgiveness.

Think more or less it's just part of the game, can't take it too personal. Saban's probably ornery about it, but he knows he hires good coaches too.
Banks has a pretty good set up right now, Texas move would only make sense if he just prefers the area. Not sure what his long term goals are, but I'd think even as a ST Coach your best bet to become a HC would be operating on Saban's staff.
PSA: Normalize hiring ST coaches as head coaches

You just got Ra Ra Cochran excited again..lol
Also they are not too bright over there.. they think Wiggins recruited all the WRs and will be a huge blow to us.. I like Wiggins but I don’t see him leaving destroying us. They also think they will get CJ Williams now 2022 Mater Dei Monarchs.. since Sark and Wiggins were his recruiters..lol
