You realize that Lia is just a shortened version of his given name yeah?
no shite?
Lia is a girl's name
How much more difficult is it to say Taulia anyway.

because disliking a girl's name for an Alabama quarterback is obviously due to lack of intelligence.
what a maroon
what a maroon

While a final decision hasn’t been made, sources tell @SiriusXMNFL the @Colts are leaning toward hiring Brian Baker as their new assistant defensive line coach. Brian has 19 years of NFL coaching experience (D-line & OLBs) & spent 2019 as @AlabamaFTBL assistant HC & d-line coach

You do understand your culture, language, etc aren't the only ones... right?
You sound extremely narrow-minded.

"Lia" is the worst. That's a girl's name and not fitting for an Alabama quarterback.
This is a horrible take.

There are some posters on bol saying Baker prefers a 1 gap scheme(which is typical in a 4-3 defense) and didnt want to run Saban's 2 gap system. If that truly was the case then I have been really critical on the wrong coach. If the dline isnt taking care of their responsibilities, how is the rest of the defense supposed to do their jobs correctly?

The defense was missing the gaps sometimes last year. Not sure what coach that fall on, but missing gaps and not setting the edge is what made our run defense lack luster.
Setting the edge improved a good bit over the season, but the missing gaps thing was happening even in the Michigan game to start.

If you have one coach going rogue and doing whatever he wants then the entire defense is going to be compromised. Especially when the lbs depend on the dline hitting the correct gaps to be able to fill the correct holes

While this may be true, Golding does still deserve some blame. I’m not against Golding and truly believe he will be a great coach, but the minimal improvement we saw from the linebackers and still having Shane Lee as the lone backer in the dime defense was horrible.
I do give him praise for the improvement we saw from Christian Harris

I don't get all of the shane Lee hate on here and other boards. The dude was a freaking true freshman and played about as good as you could expect. Yea he might be a step slow but as he learns the system and gets more confident, he can overcome some of his slowness with quicker reaction time and anticipation rather than being flatfooted trying to react to everything after it happens

Uh-oh, do we need to worry about Mama calling Saban back home?

If East Lansing is now located in West Virginia we might.

The irony in this statement is you're the one being closed-minded like TideFan.
Just because it doesn't fit your tradition, culture or heritage doesn't make it bad, weird or unacceptable.
As I said, you (like TideFan) are coming off narrow-minded.
