And I'm offering my opinion of the same thing living in the region for the last decade and listening to Patriots news everyday, including listening to 98.5 the Sports Hub, WEEI, watching NESN and NBC Sports Boston and reading the Boston Globe regularly. Much to my chagrin I talk way more about the Pats then I do my Niners. I am also in CT and NYC regularly so I get that side of it as well. Mike Francesca is a fun listen when I travel.
I don't know everything as a Bama fan however I do know a lot about the Patriots. No need to get testy. I am not having a member measuring contest about the Patriots. We can go into more detail about why Joe Judge was a panic hire for the Giants but I doubt this is the place.

I have to get testy man.... I’m a patriots fan and it’s been a tough year this year. The thought of losing Brady is breaking me. Ha Ha.
All joking aside.... I hear you. I’m not saying you’re one, but I hate it when we Alabama fans know everything about every coaches and sports team.... even better than the coaches and managers. If we did , we would be doing their jobs and not on this chat, right?

I get what you are saying and agree that second guessing coaches and GMs gets tedious but it is part of being a sports fan.
With that being said I think somethings are pretty obvious to criticize and Gettleman is one of them. I don't know how good of a head coach Joe Judge will be and I wish him little success as a Niners fan () but he could be outstanding. The fact he would hire Jason Garrett makes me question him immediately. With that being said the idea that you don't interview McDaniels before making a final decision because Judge has an offer on the table from Mississippi State is insane to me. Hey we will see. I've been proven wrong before. I thought John Lynch was doing a terrible job for the Niners.

No, we Patriots fans do know Joe Judge. We have a pretty good special team group, so they always show him on the sideline and give him credit.....sort of like the way TV always show Cochran in the sideline.
Having said that, I was surprised as any that the Giants selected him as their HC. Of course, I am not prevy to the decision making process that went on. Maybe the Giants like McDaniels but don’t really trust him after what happened wit the Colts.
Anyhow, back to Alabama football. Sorry to hi-jack it to talk about another dynasty. Haha.

If you present yourself as an insider, be prepared to be called out when you whiff on your predictions....and Boz has had some big ol' misses over time. I remember him telling us on the Wooly that Braxton Miller was a stone cold lock to transfer and we were just waiting for him to clear medical.
....and taking your ball and going home because you whiffed on your insider info and some posters called you out is just a bitch move. Sorry, I love Boz too but he acts like a big crybaby sometimes.

Some of y'all are just comically starved for information. I mean do you really need to know every damn thing going on with the football program? Unless there is an actual member of the current coaching staff dumb enough to talk about the team on a fricking message board literally all of it is, at the absolute best, dubious second hand information. Most of it is conjecture based on bits and pieces of information being passed off as fact, if not outright fabricated bullshite. And that will be my last post on the subject.

The team is pissed y'all. The way the season ended didn't sit well with them and they are hungry. Look out for a mustachioed grad transfer named Pua Lagovaitoa to sign with us in a few weeks. Buzz around the football facility is that he's like Tua but better and more experienced. We ridin baws!

Generally mocking fake insiders ain't the same thing as specifically mocking Boz. People have their issues with Boz for whatever reason, but he clearly knows some stuff and has some contacts. Getting things wrong because things change or your contact was wrong is just part of being the insider. Boz knows that I think.
On the flip side, there are those who clearly just want to be e-badasses and make up vague shite exactly like Robot Santa did above. They deserve to be relentlessly mocked.
