Great video. Moving forward - more passes to the TE, more designed QB runs.

Bond had some hands issues last year with dropped passes. He looks a lot better this year.

I agree completely and said so during the game.

Benson just has no effort or isn't very good at blocking. We are one person away from breaking and he usually is the guy allowing his opponent to make the big play

He's been a huge disappointment in all aspects of the game considering the freaking hype he was getting before the season.

That’s why I made a whole topic about Brooks. He seems able and available. Despite his faults, he can make plays. Benson has only a handful more receptions and about 60 more yards than Brooks despite getting far more snaps at WR.

Can’t argue with Bond, Law, and Prentice getting more snaps than Brooks but I don’t see what the staff sees in Benson. Hell, why isn’t Hale getting some of those snaps? He’s listed at X on the depth chart behind Benson or Brooks.

Yeah how they were talking I thought we had Devonta-lite.

That dude's hands are inconsistent and for a speedster he doesn't seem to get that much separation.

Maybe it's effort due to not getting the ball, but man from the beginning I haven't seen what made him great.

Hale? He stands out. I agree with the other poster who is wondering why he isn't getting more time. I have actually seen him fight to block

Wasn't just bond. Burton had his fair share as well.

Saban just said they’re sticking with Kool-Aid on his weekly SEC teleconference.

Makes literally zero sense. He’s costing the team 10-20 yards of field position on multiple drives in several games this year. In big games (especially with how inconsistent the offense is) things like that could lose you the game

He's looked like a stereotypical low effort JUCO guy to me so far.

If he’s as good as he acts like he is in practice he should be featured downfield like Jamo and be the one getting the screen passes while someone else blocks for him.

If not, his arse should be on the bench along with any other receiver who won’t block on the edge because we’ve lost 10-15 explosive plays because our WR group is the softest we’ve had under Saban.

We have 9 guys at WR minimum. I’d get magnet name tags on a whiteboard in the receiver room and every time during film study that one of these clowns alligator arms a key block id stop the film, stand up and take their name from wherever it was on the rotation order and put it to the back of the list while everyone else watches.

If Julio, Devonta and Waddle can sell out as blockers you can too or you can find somewhere else to play.

I’d argue that absent the strip sack TD his mistake in the 4th easily could’ve cost us the UT game.

If that were a 7 point game Heupel calls a very different 4th quarter and the pressure on the offense to respond to a likely TD drive would’ve been incredible.

Koolaid is a lockdown CB, let him be that and have one of our 9 WRs go back and fair catch some punts for a couple weeks, it’s not complicated.

I guess the staff sees it different. The thing is that Koolaid isn't sandbagging...he's got the yips. Maybe a bye week and a big game right after is what can loosen him up. Some returns would be huge when they get stops on LSU and he's the most dynamic returners we've got on the roster.

Didn’t realize LSU was in such a bad spot injury wise

Alabama stayed put in the newest edition of the US LBM Coaches Poll maintaining its status at No. 8. The Tide moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 Poll and is now also ranked No. 8.

Bama is in a good spot at 8... just need to keep winning and it'd help if Texas could get their second loss. Texas running the table is the only thing that could possibly screw up Bama if they win out.

Will be interesting to see if we try some more outside runs against their inexperienced CBs. We have seen Rees be able to get Jase, Jam, and Jalen on the outside. But Roydell just doesnt have the lateral burst to get there. Maybe run some QB power where we get Booker hunting for a DB to eat. The WRs need to have their best game blocking.
