Yeah, it's weird he would try and make that up. Williams came out of the gate looking like a stud and I don't remember one bad word being said about the guy.

Yes, those posts on Jamo disappeared when it was obvious, just like these ones will about Burton.
Then in two years it will be denied it ever happened.

It isn't about being as good it's about how people love to shite on some players when they see them passionate.... then erase all of what was said when the player wins them something.
We had a guy do a weak search and people pile on but he he ignored an appreciation (apology) thread which confirms what I have been saying.
If you actually go back and see the posts at the beginning of that season with Jameson he was getting the same reaction as Burton is getting now.

A TN reporter on wjox just said their game last week signifies that TN has totally given up on Joe Milton. They are just trying to win anyway they can. He said that game plan looked more like a Johnny Majors game plan and this week might look more like a Gene Stallings game plan. If our QB gets sacked 5 or 6 times it might work.

I will repeat if you actually went back to the first 6 or so games that season he was get shite on for his passion. After people finally realized he was a cheat code it got reeled in.
The same thing is about to happen with Burton even though he isn't as good as Jamo. If Burton can focus and catch all those deep balls many in here are going to deny that he was getting shite in a couple of years too.

It’d be cool if Burton put out and was a game changer like Landon D, Jamo, and maybe Dre K. But, he’s not. That doesn’t stop him from running that mouth and always being a hair away from costing us 15. He makes plays but he’s no game changer.

Maybe not consistently, but he was the deciding factor against A&M. Burton was uncoverable that day, and seems to catch whatever Milroe throws at him whether it's a good pass or not. The Bama passing game needs all the help it can get, so chirp all you want, Burton.

Why do you continue to generalize everyone into “you guys”…you don’t even know who said all that about Jamo. Could have been just 2 or 3 posters that aren’t even here anymore. If you’re going hold a grudge then keep receipts. Bring up specific names.
