You just continue to distance yourself from the competition for “dumbest poster on the Bammer board”
You and others on the board really need to backoff on the incendiary and personal jabs. There is not a single one of us who has not made a post that does not stand up well against history. We are stating our opinions at the time based on what we see or feel.
Shaft has been here a long time and his insights / opinions advance the conversation. Sometimes they may be off base, other times they are dead on. Regardless, they are his opinions and he has the right to express them.
Others go off on Y-star. Y-star has informed views that come from having been there in the thick of the real action. His opinions have as much and at times more weight than many of the rest of us because of personal experience.
Enjoy the conversations. Maybe learn a little from what others see. Maybe disagree with what they say. But do not attack. If you cannot have a conversation without being incendiary toward other, youmight need to find an echo chamber for your thoughts.

Well said, T.
I'm quite sure I've littered this board with terrible opinions at various times, but I gotta say, at this point I think I may have actually nailed my previous assessment:

Is it okay to attack back if some of the esteemed posters personally attack you?

snaps he’s had were against significantly better defenses ?
You mean... The defense that picked him off twice and got two hands on two other balls? Or going back to his other real defense he's started against ..ATM where that D caused 4? Turnovers? All while getting the lion share of reps.
MTSO shares skewes his stats.
I get " they couldn't move the ball against USF " but that probably doubled Simpsons game experience from all other games combined and and kept USF from scoring by throwing it to the right people.

Change of subject. I keep hearing people on talk shows say that Golding has an ax to grind. What issue does he have?
1. Saban offered him a chance of a lifetime to advance his career.
2. Tried to help him through his troubles.
3. Was always an advocate of him (publicly).
4. Kept him on many years longer than he had anyone in the past that wasn’t measuring up.
5. Allowed him the opportunity to leave for another job and didn’t let him go.
What ax could he possibly have, publicly at least.

It was a clear demotion, or at least it looked that way.

For God’s sake we’ve been over the turnovers ad nauseam. I think at this point everyone would take an improvement from cataclysmic to merely a problem. That being said, we averaged almost 6 yards a play against Texas with a non-existent rushing attack. We moved the ball pretty consistently
Assuming Simpson didn’t turn it over once against Texas and maintained his average of 4.9 yards per play (which is insanely generous considering we’re going from the 121st ranked defense to arguably a top-10 one) then we probably don’t have the lead going into the 4th. More than likely we’d be down 2 scores with an exhausted defense, a Texas defense that could pin its ears back, and an O-Line that cannot pass block to save its life

Nick Saban said Tyler Booker and Jaheim Oatis have been practicing this week but they remain day-to-day.
"They haven't had issues," Saban said. "That doesn't mean they're still not day-to-day in terms of coming back and getting over injuries, but they are practicing."
Oatis missed the South Florida game with an ankle injury. He was spotted in a medical boot before the game. Meanwhile, Booker missed the game with back spasms. Both are starters.

The offensive line we saw in the USF game was, by far, worse than we saw in the other two games. I know everyone likes to just add up stats, but, all things equal, Milroe wouldn't have fared any better than Simpson in that game.
I hope it all clicks, and Milroe leads us to a NC and a Heisman. But, my bet is, we eventually run up against a good defense and Simpson, or even Lonergan has to come in and dig us out of a one-dimensional hole.

I didn’t want to start a whole thread on it, but I’ve not been so sure about a loss in quite a while. I’m afraid we’re in for a Bama-Georgia 2003 type game where we end up marching a modern-day Brandon Avalos out there to the slaughter by the end of it.
I’m not usually a downer, but last Saturday took a lot out of me.

I think we dominate Ole Miss from start to finish.

I didn't say I get everything right.
Many would agree that it is CNS' responsibility and at this point, it looks like Rees' is a colossal failure. Let's hope that is not the case, that there has been extenuating circumstances that have now been removed. But please stop trying to make it about you and "your brilliance".

quote:Against Texas, Milroe threw for 255 yards at 9.44 ypa and 2 TDs. Yes, his 2 ints were bad and costly, just like Mac's 2 vs AU in an early start for him, which were bad and even more costly. JM is arguably the best Bama has got at this time. JM didn't have Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, Waddle and Metchie as WR, along with a competent OL and Najee and B. Robinson to run the ball.

This game will definitely be close, IMO
Kiffin will pull out all of his tricks to beat Alabama - we have to hamper their offense early and some points quick. If we hamper OM's offense early, throughout the game they won't be as effective - Ole Miss warms up their offense during the first few drives (from what I've seen). If the offense ain't doing so hot - they'd probably end the game in a mediocre finish.

You post to personally attack me then wonder why I make it about me.
I mean you can't make this stuff up lol. You entire post is just a personal shot and you are irrational angered at the fact I dare to respond or defend myself.
