Tide Pride football folks just got the warning shot across the bow about greatly reduced capacity, so I imagine basketball will delay as long as possible.

Still no official word from John Petty on his stay/go decision but he has been in Tuscaloosa all week working with the @AlabamaMBB team fwiw
I think thats a good sign for him staying that he is in tuscaloosa practicing with the team.
The Athletic came out with an article ranking the NBA draft prospects and ranked Petty 85th. Kira was 10th.

Did y’all see the Before and After pictures on twitter of Primo after 1 month with Snowden? Ponytail could never get those results

Yeah, 30 teams, two rounds. So at 85th he would miss the mark by quite a bit. I think he would be higher than 85th personally, but him getting drafted in the top 40 like Oats said the goal was is a reach.

Well, we Will know something on Petty within the next 3 days.
Also, it’s looking like the season is probably gonna get pushed back to January. I hope they at least keep the schedule the same and just push the start date back

I spoke with two sources close to the situation and both are cautiously optimistic that Petty will return. But both were giving me educated guesses that he would be back based on what they have witnessed and heard. But it does NOT mean he for sure he is returning. There has been no official word either way yet. Petty himself has been pretty quiet and seems intent on taking this down to the last couple of days. He has to make a decision by Monday. It was also of note that both sources said they feel from everyone they spoke to that Petty would return.
FYI for you guys who've been asking.
