It’ll get canceled as soon as we are a number 2 seed in the tournament. We’ll be in the easiest bracket to make the final 4.
Maybe we'll tear through November - January and it'll get cancelled January 30th when we are sitting there at 16-4 (6-1) before the February swoon?
I'd take that.

I’d jump off of a damn bridge
Best team, on paper, that Bama has had in a very long time. Possibly the best coach since Wimp. If the season get cancelled at any time, I’m jumping
This is one season that I can truly say that I’m more excited about basketball than football

That would just really fricking suck, but it wouldn't be maximum pain. The true Alabama basketball thing would be to have a season, win Maui, look dominant, be sitting at 18-4, and then have half the team test positive for COVID, forcing us to cancel the rest of our season. Also, a successful vaccine is announced to be available the week after we officially cancel the remainder of our season.

I'd take that.
However, would it be worse for COVID to take our team or for February to take our team as usual? At least with COVID we could say "YEA WELL IF NOT FOR COVID"

Nate Oats landing the equivalent of a 5-star commitment with John Petty returning to Alabama. He averaged 14.5 ppg, 6.6 rebounds and shot 44% from outside the arc. This is huge news for 'Bama basketball fans.

LSU is waiting to hear on whether 2 of their starters stay or go to the NBA and there is 1 thread about it with 5 posts on the entire front page

So we essentially traded Javian for Petty + a guaranteed open scholarship for next cycle.

Yeah. Nice.
Does this mean we have a guaranteed recruiting class of 4 or 5 next year? I know Petty, Herb, Reese, and Bruner are seniors. Did Rojas have 3 to play 2 or 2 to play 2? Either way, Oats' roster management has been a breath of fresh air compared to Avery and Grant.

No doubt. Can't help but be impressed with the trajectory at this point.

I'm pretty sure that Rojas should have two years left.
Petty
Reese
Herb
Bruner
That would give us four, with the potential for Primo or Tchikou to also leave for the draft if it makes sense at that time.

You guys think we beat North Carolina in the Maui Finals by 20 points or 30 points? I can’t decide
