Alabama (vs Ole Miss) and Auburn (vs Missouri) have a real shot to sneak into the bottom part of the hosting discussion if they sweep this weekend.
Alabama sitting at #18 on the S-Curve, Auburn sitting at #21 on the S-Curve. Tennessee sitting at #27 - probably out of the running at this point.

Regular Season Slate for Baseball Wraps with Ole Miss
The Crimson Tide and Rebels will meet for the 371st time in series history on Thursday
Alabama baseball wraps up regular season play this Thursday through Saturday when the Tide hosts Ole Miss at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide and Rebels are slated for a pair of 6 p.m. CT starts in games one and two followed by a 2 p.m. first pitch in the series finale. All three contests will air on SEC Network+.
The series with Ole Miss will feature numerous promotions across the final two games of the 2023 regular season. On Friday, the Tide will be handing out red Alabama baseball cups to the first 500 fans through the gates. The cup is the final of five 'SEC Cup Series' giveaways. Fans should also be sure to show up early on Friday as Alabama will host 'Senior Night' at The Joe, recognizing the program's 13 senior student-athletes and one manager. Friday will also serve as staff appreciation day for all Alabama Athletics staff.
The regular season finale on Saturday will be the final 'Kids' Day at The Joe' of 2023. All kids 18-and-under can purchase a $5 general admission ticket. Children will also have the chance to run the bases postgame. Additionally, Saturday will be the Tide's fifth baseball card giveaway of the 2023 season. The trading cards are part of a season-long promotion highlighting the 2023 roster. Kids can get their fifth and final pack of cards and stay after the game to get autographs from the group of players featured in Saturday's group.

Would love nothing more than to host a regional. Should Bama sweep this weekend and have a nice showing in Hoover, I think the biggest thing working against it is the number of SEC teams above Bama that are pretty much locks to host. I haven’t researched to see the conference max in the past, but I can’t see the committee letting half the hosting site come from the SEC. It’s fun to think about though.
Why Alabama Baseball Could Really Host a Regional: All Things CW (SI)
It isn't just wishful thinking any more, the Crimson Tide is on the cusp of bringing NCAA Tournament games back to Sewell-Thomas Stadium for the first time since 2006.

Are we assuming there are probably six locks from the SEC to host?
Kentucky
Vandy
LSU
Arkansas
South Carolina
Florida
I do think the NCAA would allow seven SEC teams to host. I don't think they'd go to eight. So that puts us in competition with probably just Auburn from the league. There's a chance.

Holman is dealing.
Wish our bats would wake up, but getting 4 runs off 4 hits is great bang for your buck.

Yup. So different from the past when we would leave 23 on base a game and score 2 runs.
