UAB is throwing a new pitcher every inning to save arms for their weekend and effectively keeping us way out of synch at the plate.

Honestly shouldn't have because we should have taken 2 of 3 from Florida.

Happy to see Bama continuing to win these midweek games. Sparse crowd tonight. McNairy had a rough first inning but settled down after that. Pinckney continued to struggle at the plate. Aidan Moza made his pitching debut - happy to see him entering the rotation. On to the Kentucky series where we’re likely looking at Hess, Holman and Hitt as the starting crew.
Baseball Downs UAB, 12-2, on Tuesday
The Crimson Tide run-ruled the Blazers in the eight-inning affair
Alabama baseball scored in four of the final five innings for the 12-2, eight-inning win over UAB on Tuesday evening at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide is now 18-4 on the season.
UAB took an early lead with one in the first and kept Alabama off the board until the fourth. That fourth saw the Tide score two runs to take the lead for good. Alabama added five in the sixth and two in the seventh before the Blazers tallied one in the eighth. The Tide then crossed three in the eighth to end the game at 12-2 for the run-rule victory.
The Tide offense was powered by Drew Williamson, who finished 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored. Tommy Seidl provided three hits as part of a perfect 3-for-3 effort that included a double and three runs scored. Colby Shelton joined the veterans with a multi-hit night, contributing two hits and a pair of runs while drawing one walk.
Jacob McNairy (3-1) got the win with 5.0 innings of one-run baseball. The right-hander allowed just four hits and issued no walks while striking out four.
From Head Coach Brad Bohannon
"I'm glad to get a win and be 18-4. To be quite honest, I didn't really like the way we came out to play. We sleepwalked through the first three or four innings. Once Jacob McNairy got us through the first inning, he settled down and really looked sharp in innings two through five. The bats woke up in the middle of the game there and then, obviously, there were some positives on the back half."

We need a mf’in baseball insider.
Football we would know everything about our injuries, what McMillan had for breakfast, etc.
We have no clue what is going on with Holman. Just MIA last night. 1.29 ERA.

We had a couple of good ones a few seasons ago. But I have not seen either post in a some time.

Pinckney continued to struggle at the plate.
He has fallen off a freaking cliff.
He was hitting over .800 after the first few series and now he's lucky if his average is over .300.
He at least drew a walk last night.

My hope would be he's gonna start this weekend. Couldn't last weekend because he went 7 IP against USA on Tuesday and UF was a Th/Fri/Sat series.
If he didn't start last night (and McNairy did, while also not starting in Gainesville) my assumption would be he's going to start one of the games this weekend.

I bought 2 tickets to the Bama-MTSU Huntsville game awhile back for $25 each. Section 08, Row L3, Seats 9-10. My schedule changed, I can’t make it, and I’m trying to just get some of it back. Make an offer if you want them.

Feels like a weekend where we have to win 2 of 3. Kentucky is solid, but they're not one of the elite teams and we play them at home. This series and State feel like 2 where we have to win 4 of 6 and really need to find a way to win 5 of 6.
