The Crimson Tide will be joined in Ruston by No. 2 seed NC State and No. 4 seed Rider long with top-seeded host Louisiana Tech. So damn happy for Bo and the program.
Getting back to Hoover and the Tournament this year is massive - especially after losing their #1 and #2 starting pitchers for all of SEC play.

Seven years? I know we haven't been good for a while, but I didn't remember it being that long.
Jesus.

Can't believe they made it...very happy for them.

I feel like we have a decent shot to win this regional.

Is it really that surprising? Seriously. I mean the NCAA has a fairly well documented history of taking injuries into account for basketball tournament selections, so why wouldn't they do the same for baseball?

Except we aren't getting our injuries back. The injured team we've had most of the year is the team going to Ruston.
They clearly didn't go all on RPI but also decided they couldn't take the #85 RPI team and leave a top 40 RPI team at home.

So happy for guys like Praytor and Guffey who have been waiting for this moment their whole careers. Glad they get to leave on such a great note!

We clearly have to stay in the winners bracket to have a shot. No shot if we lose game 1, and much less shot if we win game 1 and lose game 2.
If we can win the first two I think we got a shot. And I think we showed in Hoover that's reasonable.

Not gonna lie , I was thinking the worst as far as getting a bid. If the bats wake up we can make some noise

I agree. Thankfully, NC State is more of a hitting than pitching team and that has been the type of team we have done well against. Get ahead early and hold on with our talented bullpen arms.
I feel like we've struggled most with teams that can keep our bats in check and we never are able to get going and build an early lead. Getting McNairy and Guffey back recently will be huge.
Also, on a hopefully not weird side-note, SummerofGeorge I notice that is says you live in Brookhaven, GA. Me and my wife live in Chamblee ourselves, so just a town over. I had been a long-time member of 247 and Rivals before, but just got tired of paying and decided to try out things over here. I'm loving how much more people keep up with Bama Baseball. Definitely a small, but proud crew.
