No - our coach managed scared, we made mistakes on the bases (very bad ones), we struck out in situations where you can't strikeout.

We sac bunted after a leadoff single in the SIXTH inning with a .195 hitting freshman 9 hole hitter waiting on deck.

I’d say we are still learning as a staff. But I was putting us on the same plane as Butch at Auburn. He was in Omaha year 4. Maybe that’s not fair with Covid, but next year better be the year.

Left the euphoria (relief) of softball in time to tune into the bad news out of Baton Rouge. I feel for the team - just can’t seem to get pitching and hitting firing at the same time. Chris Stewart said Heller went 4 for 4 tonight? Glad to hear that. Drew’s minor injury must not be quite as minor as they originally thought. Five more to go before Hoover. Win the next one!

I am sorry if this is a repeat but
Wilson, Dio, and reeves were 0-14 and had 11 LOB which I assume they made the third out with 11 men on base.
They also had 6 of our 9 K's

Yeah, I would think we are reaching a point of inflection. Coach Bo needs to show some results here very soon, or it may be time to move on.
On the other hand, our current AD seems to be the great diviner when it comes to hiring coaches. He hired Bo. Past performance seems to dictate that he picks winners. So... I guess we also need to defer to his analysis of the circumstances.

Yeah watching that game I just kind of felt Bo isn’t a long term answer.
I wouldn’t fire him this year, and I think he’ll leave the program in a better place. I don’t think this is the answer though.
