Quiet a few gifts by UNA to give us the lead.
That inning was the definition of a 4-29 team.

This UNA roster is basically a DII roster, right? When did they move up to D1, 2 years ago?

Alabama wins 8-6
Better than losing

it would have been embarrassing to lose to a team with a record that bad

Really need to find a way to win at least 4 of the next 6 @ UK and vs Mizzou before the gauntlet to end the regular season.
4 of 6 would put us at 11-10 with @ Vandy, @ LSU, and vs State left on the schedule.
Realistically, you have to think we need to go 7-8 over the next 5 series to get to 14-16 to feel pretty good about the NCAAT. Definitely doable, but going into those last 3 series needing to go 3-6 sure would make you feel better.

I'm honestly not going to be comfortable unless we go 5-1 or better. Because I'm not confident at all we don't get swept by Vandy and Clanga.

Unfortunately, I agree with you.
Honestly, we badly need to win the series in Lexington and sweep Missouri. And even then I don't think any of us will feel "good"

The only good news is that LSU has been looking bad but I’m sure they’ll be clicking on all cylinders by the time we get to them.

6 of our starters were hitless. We had 6 hits all night. our 1-3 batters were 1-11.
the 6 hits came from 3 different players. Yes what a win last night against a team with 4 wins. this was not a reply to you Alabama fan just a comment about what appears to be the lack of urgency for the entire team.
Going from memory our leadoff batter has one hit in his last 4 games.

No offense taken. The lead in was pure sarcasm. There was zero sign of life from the Bama dugout after the 3 run start for UNA. UNA on the other hand was hooping and hollering all night. It had all the makings of a headline loss. The only bright spot was the W. That and Sam seems to be hitting pretty good these days. Need PW to get out of his slump.

He had three hits in the Saturday game vs. Auburn alone.
