If this defense keeps showing up, not even Bryce Young and Tua combo could win a natty. This could be an interesting year...

And I don't think that 2024 Vandy is a bad team relative to their history.

They lost to Georgia State last week. Real juggernaut they’re building up in Nashville.

They are Vanderbilt. Without looking it up, I imagine they have no more than 3 four star players on their roster. That is one of the two least talented teams on our schedule, and we lost..in what was essentially a neutral site game.

Are they better than us? Did we get outcoached? You can’t blame a funny bounce, we never lead and they dominated time of possession. What is it mate? Just a gritty Vanderbilt team I reckon. Get the frick out of here.

The loss falls squarely on DeBoer. For not having the team mentally prepared to play and having Wommack as DC. The way the team, especially on defense, played today was disgusting.

2020 defense was bad but they were playing with an offense was one of if not the most efficient offense ever in college football. That offense was our best defense because they put insane pressure on the other team and forced opponents into uncharacteristic plays.

The next three games before the bye week will tell us a lot about where we are as a program. If we play like we did today on defense we could have at least two more losses.

I was concerned with this defense after the USF game where we left WRs running wide open all day. Their QB couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn.
Then Wisconsin’s QB went down early when it was looking like Bama was gonna have trouble stopping them.
We all saw what happened the 2nd half of the UGA game. This game the defense looked confused, unprepared, undisciplined and out of control.
I worried about this defense in games with competent offenses like Tenn or LSU. This group might not be able to stop any SEC team.

Which is hard to understand given the amount of talent. There is some elite talent on the back end of the defense albeit young in spots. The front seven has more than enough talent and depth. Wommack is garbage.

My opinion is that DeBoer is going to have to make his first big decision as the UA football coach very soon. Wommack is in over his head and not ready to be the defensive coordinator at Alabama. We have way too much talent on this team to perform like we have the last three halves of football. We’ve given up 784 yards of offense and forced two punts. We have to stop the bleeding.

People don't want to hear it but 2024 Vandy may not be as talented as 2021 Aggy but I think they're a better and overall better coached team than Aggy.

Better coached, absolutely. I don't see how there can be any doubt about that. Fisher had a team full of five stars consistently failing to make a bowl. Lea has a program that was completely dead under Derek Mason now competitive every week.

Pavia has gotten better every week. I wouldn’t be surprised if they upset a couple more teams this year.

Meh... They'll probably lose 4-5 of their next 7 games. Womack deserves to be fired today.

If I remember correctly that aTm team had just dropped out of the Top 25.
