Welp needed this one. Probably getting smacked @ auburn with their crowd but oh well
I actually feel better about that game than I did this one. We kind of play better on the road and there was more pressure on us today. I don’t know if we could play worse than we did.
AU is a damn good team though. They are talented, well coached, and didn’t flinch every single time we got hot. Kudos to them.
It’s still mid-February though and this team’s season won’t be defined until March.

All we got to do is ELIMINATE drop coverage.
Mo Dioubate literally could've drove the ball on their BIGS all game long. He was a mismatch. He got fouled a lot to.

I will never understand the extended benching of Dioubate in the first half that resulted in them really gaining momentum that we could not get back.

They made big shots, I have to concede that. Honestly they made every big shot when they needed it. I feel like we shot poorly at important moments and they made big shots in big moments.

Their ability to hit a dagger was something else. Have to just tip your hat to them. The entire arena was ready to explode and they didn’t flinch.

GRANT NELSON was a GHOST today.
He had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Sears and Youngblood couldn't shake the Auburn defense

When Youngblood tied it back up CBM took a contested 3 and made it that was the sign to me that it was there night

I agree, great teams make big shots. It sucks, but we had all the momentum in the world and the scarecrow Chad Baker Mazara comes down and shoots a rushed 3 that was covered and just stripped it. They did it every time it got close. Pettiford, Broome, etx

It reminded me of what Florida did to AU last weekend. They were just on. And we were very off.

He did, but Nelson also took some momentum-killing bad shots today. That attempted dunk that looked like it started at the 3 point line was awful.

I don't disagree, but Sears and Youngblood were 6-23 from the floor and Nelson was 5-11.
Everybody had their bad moments.. Cliff botched a 1st half alley oop that was easy, Jarin missed the most head scratching follow up I have ever seen late in the game

When you allow their guards to get WIDE OPEN looks that's what happens down the stretch....they have a rhythm!
Their guards got hot because of drop coverage... there's multiple times Alabama has lost because of DROP COVERAGE!
IT AIN'T NOTHING NEW!

The plus n minus agrees with me.

Well that was as loud as Coleman has ever been. Sucks that we couldn’t get it done.

Alabama has seen the tape on Auburn. Will get them in 2 weeks. They will not have the open looks again. Broome and Mazaro may be down.

Honestly not that concerned about today's game. If we had lost because they dominated us on the glass or we had another 15+ turnover game I'd be worried. But that's not the case. We just had a bad shooting game. It happens. If we shot our average from 3 today we win a close one.
