Holy shite man, they are upset.
One of my coworkers is from Brooklyn and starts spouting the same shite “Why even play the games?!” Doesn’t care about any teams involved, just hates Alabama. Another coworker is an FSU guy, he wasn’t actually upset. I’ve seen the same phenomena on the socials, and it’s weird to me that the people that seem to be the most upset are not even FSU fans.

Tell him you play the games to show the CFP committee that you are the best team.

LSU fans are taking this exceptionally hard. It plays right into their whole tin foil hat mentality that we only have success because “the establishment” cheats for us.

Man….. it’s been a mess.. I had my Monday meeting with my team (I work outta Atlanta) and everyone on the call was crying….
Then one of my coworkers is a big Michigan fan and he was sending me messages about how we stand no chance bc our Qb is arse lol.
The coping is real today.

The fact that literally no one is talking about how Texas was #3, meaning that if UGA had won Texas would be #4 and FSU is still out, is pretty telling as far as what is actually driving all the ire.
The committee fricked up by engaging in the charade that FSU was still a top 4 team after Travis got hurt and then again the week after that when they struggled to beat a bad Florida team and their backup QB looked like shite. Should have moved them down a couple of weeks ago to make it clear that Alabama and Texas both needed to lose for them to get in and soften the blow. The fact that it kinda came out of nowhere isn't helping.

My thoughts as well. It’s just fatigue and sorepussy syndrome.

I work next to a Ohio State fan and I don't do a good job of not talking football around him. He is just detached from reality. He thinks OSU should have been in before Alabama since their only loss was on the road to Michigan.

Yep. They should’ve moved Oregon to 4th and dropped FSU to 5th or 6th last week.
Ranking UGA behind of FSU this week sends a very conflicting message as well.

Right, it's like they pretty clearly acknowledged behind closed doors that FSU was no longer truly viable as a playoff option but didn't have the balls to do it publicly until Louisville decided to shite all over themselves and forced the committee's hand. If only Texas had lost it would have been Michigan, Washington, Alabama, UGA. If only we had lost it would be UGA, Michigan, Washington, Texas. If both of us had lost then FSU gets the 4th spot.
All the maneuvering of the rankings in an attempt to appear consistent just makes it so much worse. Don't play coy. Just list who you think are the 4 best teams from week to week and see how things shake out.

My boss went to Texas- we're cool. Exchanged a few words this morning and a brief "poor FSU" but we know we're in this together

I guess I'm incredulous at the whining going on by some in the media and FSU fans. Clearly, they don't know or refuse to acknowledge that the committee has said all along that a team that loses a major player or players would have an effect on the final rankings.
For the same media "experts" (extreme sarcasm) and FSU fans to say that there has been little to no drop off between their #! QB and their #2 and #3 QB is completely absurd. They struggled mightily against a mediocre Florida team and a mediocre Louisville team, who I might add got absolutely spanked by a middling Kentucky team.

They thought this Bama run was over with and they are mad that it isn’t. That’s what fueling the hate….nothing else

As a Bama fan I would admit that if Bama didn't have Milroe the team wouldn't be worthy of a top 4 ranking, although Bama played a competent team in the championship game so that would have been clear. Curious how FSU would have looked against Georgia on Saturday without Travis? I mean, according to a lot of people, and the committee, they're still a better team.

It’s Tuesday. Jaden Daniels is going to win the Heisman in a few days. Yet LSU fans are still in the middle of a Stage 5 melt about Alabama making the playoff.

People seem to just disregard Bama beating the CFP's #1 team to get in (the team they kept at #1 even after Michigan beat OSU) and move straight to the conspiracy stuff.
Sounds like we're all fine with it, whatever the commentary may be.

Because we put up with these temper tantrums before in 2011 & 2017….and it worked out just fine.
But yeah, it’s funny that we just took down the two time defending champion that was on a historic winning streak and it barely registers with them.
