I know it’s a left arm/shoulder injury. Have they released any more information?

DeBoer didn’t expound on it in the postgame. Basically said they’d have to gauge the severity in the coming days.

Dislocated shoulder pregame for 74.

I believe that’s 4-6 weeks without surgery and possibly season ending with surgery but that’s just going off my fantasy football injury memory

From people I've talked to who've suffered them, think it depends on if there was anything damaged around it and/or if this has happened to Proctor before. Recurrence is a bitch.
I'd guess they'll hold him out until UGA, maaaybe Wisconsin...

I dislocated my elbow on a wed practice in highschool, played in the playoff game on Friday. Not sure how different they are, but after I got reset it wasn’t super painful or anything. More or less a full ache for a couple of days.

Elbow is different than shoulder and he plays on the line so usage and contact will be significant.
Depending on the severity he's going to be sitting through UGA. If bad he's out till near end of October. If not so bad maybe they can find a way to get him ready tmfor UGA in four weeks but that is a huge risk which cab backfire putting him out the season.

HOw the heck do you get an upper body injury in pre game workouts? I understand the lowerhalf where you tweak an ankle or someone steps on your foot but this looked liked a shoulder.

That ball joint can be fickle, we put so much on its range of motion day to day with no issues. Then you reach too high for something and it suddenly pops loose.
Proctor might've fallen in warm ups, or it could've just popped loose in drills.

Weird to dislocate in warmups though, I could see if he’s over 40 throwing a ball or something, but warming up is like a normal for athletes. Hope he heals up and can get in for the season, but there is always something going on with him. Injuries suck.

I think it happened when they do the chest push and raise the player up. I could have sworn I saw it out of the corner of my eye now that I think about it.

He's soft as Charmine Ultra so it doesn't take much...

Not gonna lie. Pritchett did not impress me last night. He was beat a lot in pass protection. Losing Protor through Georgia may hurt us but how do we know since we haven’t seen him perform since last year and don’t know if he has improved as much as reported.

Tbf to Pritchett all his reps in camp were probably at RT.
I would move Booker to LT and put someone else at Guard.

Pritchett was manhandled a few times on the pass rush. Plenty of time to improve but that film was ugly.

Dislocated shoulder is not a good injury for a tackle. Best case, it did no damage to the surrounding tisue. out for two or 3 weeks. Back for UGA.
The bad part for a LT, it was his left shoulder. That is the arm extention side to redirrect a speed rush. His push/extend power will be weak for 8 weeks. He will also likely have to wear a shoulder/arm cuff to restrict range of motion so it does not pop back out. Range of motion on the outside arm is critical for pass blocking. Forward arm extention is critical in run blocking to keep a strong DE from getting his hands inside to control you.
