If I remember correctly, Bama women’s basketball was one of our bright spots in the 90’s as far as sports were concerned. Men’s basketball was okay, baseball too.

They were very good in the 1990s. Went to the NCAA Tournament every year between 1992-1999, Sweet 16 every year from 1994-1998, and the Final Four in 1994.

I barely remember the semi's game against LaTech. They were down 2 with the ball and stepped out of bounds trying to shoot a 3? Had to foul and lost by 4. Is that right?

Senior day for the ladies on Sunday. Unfortunately it’s also right in the middle of baseball and softball (with a forecast for great weather). Hope some fans turn out. Would be great to get back into the tournament after all these years. Roll Tide!

Nice job from Curry this year. It has been a really slow climb, but it looks like they should finally be able to punch their ticket this season.
Would be great if they could win one of these last three to really lock it up.

I guess it’s ok to use this thread for the remaining few games of the women’s basketball season? If it is more appropriate in the mega thread, I can move the links.
Senior day for the ladies today at 1 pm. It’s unfortunate that they are going head to head with softball and baseball with nice forecast to be outdoors.
If women’s basketball is your sport of choice:
