This team will be deadly if they can get fully healthy. That's been the hard part it seems. Gonzaga had 0 injuries on their squad. Look what they did. It would be nice to get that opportunity.

Man I'm really rooting hard for Noah. All I see on Twitter from Bama fans is stuff like "He's god awful", "Waste of a scholarship" and whatnot. And I'm sure he has to read all that. I hope it doesn't discourage him or make him loathe his time at Alabama.

Not saying anybody on here shouldn't make comments about him or anything. I'm not trying to be the moral authority. I mean is he difference maker? No, definitely not. I think we all realize that. But as long as he's playing with effort, I'm going to try to remain positive about him and hope that he surprises us all.

Joka alter??? Jk

Yeah same. I mean, fans should be a little better on Twitter because it’s accessible. I don’t think any of the players are checking Tiger Droppings.

He’s not playable against good competition right now, but it’s not his fault we recruited him and/or didn’t recruit other bigs to take those minutes. I’m sure he’s trying. Everyone would love nothing more than for him to turn into Tim Duncan reincarnate.

11:00 again tonight against Maryland. I assume they aren’t very good. Lost by 40 to Gonzaga.

This tournament is just poorly managed in general. Last year, somebody had to inform the creators of the tournament a few weeks before it started that the method they were using could end with up to 5 teams having identical records going into the championship round. It was very basic tournament measures and they couldn't understand that in order to have a true champion, winners had to play winners in every round. At the last second they came up with some silly scoring margin measurement.

This year Tennessee (hurts to speak on their behalf), beats the highest ranked team in the tournament and wins their other game easily and is relegated to the "3rd place game" while Michigan clobbers two marginal teams and is placed in the championship game due to point margin?

I personally think Michigan and Gonzaga are the best two teams in the tournament right now, but the criteria made no sense. This whole tournament has always felt like it was put together by Michael Scott. I love the match up in the tournament and it's cool to be a part of, but having these games start at 11 pm almost defeats the purpose.

It’ll be worse next year. It’s moving to even more teams.

I think they’re going to have to find more Saudi money to give like 3 different million dollar prizes instead of one. Teams aren’t going to show to lose arbitrary tie breakers based on scoring margins

They're not very good in the frontcourt. We should have a big advantage if Sherrell, Bowen, Bristow, and Allen play with an intention to eat.

"When he wants to, he's a blue collar guy"

I think Bol Bowen cooks Nate's grits a bit

I kind of get it too. He's the player that has such a wild variance in defensive intensity from game-to-game.

I'm hopefully this is just growing pains. When he faces a challenging front court matchup, he's not confident in the scheme yet and playing timid. When he's not as challenged, he just trusts himself and just plays ball.

Just riffing but that would be the "this won't happen in March" spin at least.

Yeah I’ve noticed that a lot this year. Bol Bowen is the far away leader for Oats shots in the press conferences. I think he knows what he’s capable of and must be comfortable enough with him to do it. He hasn’t dogged some guys who have been awful so with TBB it’s definitely something where he’s trying to push him.

You want to make the game thread for tonight again?

I'm probably not going to be awake for this one either so getting it out of the way now would be nice.

A great coach knows how to push the right buttons. Bowen probably needs harsh criticism but is also mature enough to take it.
