Hopefully we come out quick next week, get to like 24-0 or 28-0 midway through the second and let him take the rest of the day off.

We can all see how important reps are for our QBs to develop. Milroe needs to play at least an entire half then Simpson clean up the 2nd half (allowing Simspon to actually run the offense).

Right, the hand to the head was barley a slap. They throw the flag like 93 hit the qb in the head with a 8£ sledgehammer

It doesn't matter how hard he got hit with the hand. I think it was Turner who got slapped with a penalty exactly like that for tapping the QB on the head. The refs are apparently going to call that every time.

Defense played well, overall. Good pressure all day. Loved seeing some passes batted down at the LOS.
I'm hoping Bama goes up big in the first half next week (maybe 24-0 or 28-0) and then let Simpson take over the rest of the way. He needs the reps, reps and more reps.

Not picking on anyone, but everyone on here seems to think there is no way Simpson is on our team next year...so why play him at all?

Does anyone know why Simpson is only credited with being 1-3 for 51 yards? Pretty sure he completed two passes to Hale.

Not picking on you, but not playing the #2 (Simpson) when you can, to have him somewhat ready in case Milroe has to come out would be piss poor coaching.
Just think back to last yr.

Cause if Milroe gets injured in the Iron Bowl it’d be preferable to have a guy with some recent snaps under his belt going in. Also it’s fan speculation, Ty hasn’t said anything.
