From SI
Most softball bracketologists are projecting Alabama as a host team somewhere in the 13 to 15 range. A win over South Carolina likely would've solidified Alabama's positioning as a host, but the Crimson Tide's resumé is strong enough that it should be a host regardless.

I was hoping the protest and anarchy UW had a couple days ago would push to Bama.

I've been waiting for 20 years for Alabama Baseball to be as good as Softball...its happened but not in the way I had envisioned.

As expected Bama gets a 15 seed they probably didn't earn because we have one of the best host sites.

In 2017, a 36-20 Alabama team got the 16 seed over a 63-3 Minnesota team that was the number 1 team in the nation.
Then preceded to beat Minnesota in back to back 1-0 games.

Actually think this season was much more defendable than the last 2 years. It was us or Stanford/VT.
We won 17 games vs Q1. Virginia Tech won 13. Stanford won 11.
We had 0 Q3/4 losses. Virginia Tech had 3. Stanford had 0.
And before people say "sure they got to play in the SEC and boost their games", OOC SOS : Alabama 25, Virginia Tech 42, Stanford 59.
We played Virginia Tech 2x in the Bama Bash and split (lost 2-1, won 9-1 run rule).
But yea, if we are in a spot where there is a group of 3-4 teams that are a bit of a coin flip, we're going to win that battle every time. Is what it is.

#17 RPI, #9 SOS, T10 most Q1 wins, zero Q3/4 losses.
Is this the Auburn or Alabama board?
