Tua was trying to throw the ball away but his hand was hit as he was throwing it,hence the interception. Two Dolphons still could have caught it.

Tua needed that game more than Mac today. Glad both had a nice showing to start the season

It literally hit Gesicki in the hands twice lol

And good point pmacattack about Tua needing that win.

All 3 former Bama QBs played well today. Mac didn't look like a rookie in his first start... likely wins if Damien! doesn't fumble at the 9. Hate that for DH because he otherwise had a great game as well.

You got to see Ronnie Harrison get ejected for hitting an opposing coach.

Good ole Mark Ingram scored today and had 85 yards for the Texans as they ruined Urban and GoldenBoy’s first game.

Wasn't a punch. The coach shoved Ronnie first and Ronnie showed him back.

Mark Daniels
@MarkDanielsPJ

In NFL history, there have been 61 rookie QBs to attempt at least 30 passes in their first-career start.

No one has ever completed 70% of their passes.

Until tonight.

Mac Jones completed 74% of his throws, which according to
@Stathead, is the best mark among rookie QBs.

Ronnie will get fined, but that coach should probably be suspended for a few weeks.

Mac Jones asked why he didn’t take the football after his first touchdown pass: “That doesn’t really matter. One touchdown. We gotta score more… We gotta do better in the red zone, get more touchdowns, and we will.”

Mac doesn't want his 1st TD ball.

Patriots were 11 for 16 on third down (68.8 percent). Belichick had been 38-0 with the Patriots when converting at least 60.1 percent of third downs. Combine that with out-gaining the Dolphins by 134 yards, and this was a pretty fluky loss for the Patriots.

Tua needed the W more than Mac did, but Mac played better and the Pats should have won the game. It'll be interesting to see how their playcalling evolves as Mac gets more comfortable with the offense. Stubbornness and lack of creativity have always been two of the big complaints about McDaniels as a playcaller. I'm a big Mac stan and even I was surprised at the arm strength he was showing. I guess he didn't really need it much last year, but he was sandbagging us a bit.

Watch Jalen Hurts executing a 2-minute drill to a TD. Very impressive.

It’s hard to read Jalen because the Falcons are so bad, but I think he’s definitely improved. His running ability is unquestioned. He’s easily the strongest QB physically in the league. Dude is built like a RB from the hips down.

Yes, Jared Mayden is on the Niners Practice Squad and of course DeMeco Ryans is the DC.

I am little pissed cause Ha Ha was on the preseason roster and got cut and it looks like he is joining the Raiders practice squad. I was wondering if he was wiling to be a practice squad player and he obviously is so why wouldn't the Niners keep him. Sucks cause Ha Ha is one my favorites.
