Aikman is definitely bad. I don't think his personality really meshes well with the human manifestation of smugness that is Joe Buck either. Their broadcasts always feel so stiff and lifeless. There's a reason Manningcast is so popular.

But, they would NEVER completely change the offense. Look at this shite. The contrast is striking. Mac can absolutely run the offense Zappe has been running, better than Zappe. The play action percentage is the biggest indicator they changed the offense. Mac probably can't wait to see more play action, he was great at it at Alabama. And decent last year.
The offensive line has also played FAR better the last 3 games. Mac was getting hit constantly in the first 3.
And you're right, the 2 teams Zappe has played a full game against, are arguably the 2 worst defenses in the league.
