Sark is one of the best offensive schemers and they scored 19 points. 19. I will take it

Texas has 4*/5* t talent on the field and we held a Sark led offense to 19....yet these guys are ready to put Nick out to pasture.

The story of the games was dumb penalties and the offense needs a lot of work....when Bryce ran the two minute and got into a rhythm it was a thing of beauty and we diced them up.

I need to find the crimson glasses some of you are wearing.

Brutal honesty:

We were lucky to win yesterday. Defense actually kept us in it. Offense was horrible.

Our coaches brought a team that was poorly coached, not prepared, and sloppy. You can't break that off as, well some kids are new and they just didn't execute. That mess was on the coaches...

There is a difference between playing well against a tough opponent and showing up looking like we did.

We have a few cupcakes coming up to work on our egos a little bit, but make no mistake...we have some issues in coaching just under the surface.

There are dipshits on here who still clamor to fire Golding.

The field shrinking when Card came in had nothing to do with the defense, it was simply because he couldn’t step into his throws on the bum ankle and get anything behind his deep ball. X Worthy was still getting behind our DBs, Card just couldn’t get it there. The defense played well in keeping them out of the end zone, but they got torched between the 20’s.

I'm one of them...did you see us constantly being late in covering the motion man? How many times was he wide open? We do the same thing and they hit us for no gain or a loss.

Did you see how long it took Golding to bracket the wide receiver doing us damage? That should have been a one series adjustment.

Did you see our mush rush where we slowly rush and then send 2 dbs or a dB and a lb from way back on a delayed blitz?

Did you see all those missed tackles?

We have 2 problems, it's Bob and Golding. It's always been Bob and Golding. We were super lucky to win. You can sunshine pump all you want but that was an ill prepared team. Our excuse of being out-schemed is in direct relation to poor coaching. We shouldn't be getting out-schemed. I'm tired of seeing pathetic coaching, pathetic play calling, pathetic game planning.

Everyone says Sark is a great play caller. No one here says Bob is because we can see the difference. We can see the difference in our defense play calling as well. There is no excuse for this team to play so poorly.

This is exactly what I am talking about... shuda/cuda/wuda!

WE SHUDA LOST SATURDAY!

Well why didn't we?

There will be games like this next year , the year after, and so forth.

Poorly coached (Game plan wise)...the wide receivers and the offensive line are relatively new (People Tend To Forget That). They don't necessarily have game experience together. You saw dropped passes, miscommunication, missed blocks, and missed running lanes.

That's not executing!

The problem here is that this team has to learn through GAME EXPERIENCE shoot not all of it was on BILL O'BRIEN even though he was horrendous.

So what? and if Colt wasn't hurt......

So what is it's silly to pretend that we all of a sudden shut down their offense without noting that a big part of their offense moving the ball early was their QB and their QB left the game. We played better and did some good things defensively, but Card was clearly not able to execute their gameplan the same way Ewers was early (especially on 1 leg).

It's football, injuries happen. It also had an impact on their offensive performance. And that's fine, but it's silly to act like all of a sudden the defense figured it out as if there weren't other factors at play.

They have, if not the best - ONE of the best backs in the country. Dude is a beast. 57 yards. Dude was shut down.

Our run defense was fantastic. No doubt about that.

I'm not trying to dog the defense. I expect they would have been better as the game went on against Ewers too and they were fantastic against the run. They saved the game with their play with their backs against the wall against an elite play caller who knew them like the back of his hand.

Some people act like we are trash?

We are a very good team who had a tough game against a guy who schemed us well because he knows us well.

We have a young OL, Young WR’s.

Defense played well enough to win, Ewers was a surprise to me. They have great skill players, and a really good running back. We would have adjusted to him eventually.

Texas came to win, they almost did, but almost doesn’t cut it.

I wasn't as warm and fuzzy about boat racing Texas as some on here were. I was telling my friends during the first Texas series that Sark was going to pat Goldings head and call him junior. It was a lot like the ole miss game two years ago when Lane made Golding his b!tch. It is tough to play against these coaches that know our tendencies as well as we do. I wont even start on BOB.

I agree with those few who have said they were nervous about this game. I thought the 20 pt spread was crazy.

Sarkisian knows our offense, it was at their place, and the crowd showed up like a SEC game. It's Sarkisian's 2nd year, so it's a good bet they have improved. The heat and humidity was probably a factor. Sleeping in a hotel rather than your own bed is always a bit of a factor, and no less this time I am sure. And it's vs Alabama, which is always every team's Super Bowl. Yes, these are things every team has to deal with at a road game, but all the things total was a concern to me, Sarkisian knowing our offense, and the fact he's a good coach probably most.

I am just glad that one is over. I don't expect another regular season game to be that tough, though I am never surprised if any team drops one during a long season.

Oh yeah, and Big 12 officials.
