The county itself is actually a hotbed of future NFL players, as it includes Aliquippa as well.
Kincade isn't that shabby of a QB prospect, he's got a great arm, good size, and actually has some athleticism to him. Bama wants the best though, and this time he's closer to their grasp than anyone before him.
Kincade just drew a bad hand, there's no way to know as early as he committed that his future HC would have a 5* nephew at the position.

At the end of the day, the way that they do things have been proven. Very few times have they bent them to the will of a single recruit. Even when they have, it hasn't been consistent enough to set a precedent. If those were rumored ones where even fact, even if they are tossed around as such.
Cooper Bateman may have pressed the staff to commit and then throw at camp and Dee Hart may have ransomed a EE spot by threatening to enroll at AU and taking HCD with him, but those are still rumors. They are very convenient answers to questions that we wanted to be resolved, but we'll never know the validity of them.
