From what I've gathered from the USC board it appears that his plan was to UV USC, decommit, then UV back to USC and commit. I think he's visiting USC again this weekend.

Well that Town to USC and Rosen to UCLA.
Sucks for us.

I see Town going to UCLA and Rosen going to USC.
I see the opposite: wouldn't surprise me if Town commits to USC within the month.

quote:sucks for us in perhaps 3-4 years. plenty of time to get another good qb lined up. cornwell will be awesome in the meantime. dude has an nfl body and arm now, and a great attitude. he really wants to be at alabama and has been our best student recruiter. the other players seems to love him

Its unfortunate to lose a talented player like Town but I am confident that Cornwell will be a great future QB for us.

California and Texas, not to mention the South, have plenty of QBs to go after between now and then. Obviously people will make a big deal out of Kiffin being the reason Town decommited, but Kiffin has brought in great QBs before. We will find another one for the 2015 class.

Dominick Jackson tweeted this picture, saying "Yea breakfast was so fun"

It's always tough losing a qb of that caliber, someone who can stretch the field vertically.
We seriously need to give up on recruiting that far west.

Dominick Jackson is from Cali. Assuming he qualifies he will be a beast for us. Then again, we have a reputation of developing oline. Quarterbacks? Not so much.

I'd rather go to Texas for a qb tbh.

We've got one from there already
We're going to go wherever the best players are as long as there's mutual interest

Just thinking about early commits. Who was our earliest commit that actually committed on NSD?
Posted on 1/25/14 at 4:27 pm to chattabama
Shinn and Calloway were early a few years ago. K. Malone was too. Bozeman was early in last year's class
