Staying in your home town to attend college and play a sport - meh. Hanging out in Westwood, playing in Rose Bowl - good, but not the SEC type atmosphere. Going away to college and playing for perhaps the best college coach and absorbing big-time athletics - Bama. . . VERY NICE.

Evans will be a star wherever he plays at. I just tend to think that our pitch will be about following a great track record for LBs to the NFL, which neither current coaching staff at UCLA and AU have (at Alabama's level) at this point. Evans could also become the ideal LB for the future of the defense that Saban/Smart run.

Which I tend to think will be a disservice to his all-around ability as a total LB, but maybe that's just me.

Found this on Auburn Undercover regarding Markell Boston. It was from a 10 Most Wanted prospects story they released 12 days ago:
