Yeah he posted his number so he could talk to "his fans", decommits from a school only to recommit at a press conference two days later, and tells both sides he is coming. I think he is the front runner for the Reuben Foster Attention Whore of the Year award. Still a lot of time until NSD, so it is possible someone else could steal the award, but he has made a strong case.

I think Cook has a better skillset for safety than corner after watching him in HS. Not a blazer but a physical guy with good ball skills. He was one of the redshirted corners so he must not have impressed too much there this year. I'd like to see him get a crack at safety, he's a good football player

Brandon Harris, qb commit for LSU, put on twitter that one of the Bama players from Monroe may not qualify. I'm assuming that grades have already been submitted, so we should already know something especially since he is an EE.
Some have guessed that he may have also been referring to Hootie since it doesn't look like he is an EE anymore. Everything is just speculation.
Edit: just looked up the calendar for Sims high school. January 7 is the end of this grading period. They are out until January 5, so I'm assuming they've already done all of the tests necessary for grading.

incorrect. B Harris put on twitter that 1 of the 3 players from Monroe may be ineligible to play at UA.
Never said a commit and this was after Hootie decommitted. I am starting to think Hootie is who B Harris was talking about.

I guess I didn't say that correctly. And I agree, it is a little weird that he goes from being a committed EE to uncommitted. Reminds me a little of the McNeil situation last year, though I can't remember if he was supposed to be an EE.

I'm not getting my hopes up too much on Rudolph but was just using him as an example as a guy who staff would rather take than push for a guy who was a 2nd tier S and unlikely to be an impact guy
I agree on Cook also I wouldn't be surprised to see him be one of the first the staff tries at S just as a trial to see how he does

There was an LSU poster on the SEC Recruiting board a couple months ago saying there was a rumor going around that Sims wouldn't make it in because he couldn't get a qualifying ACT score. I chalked it up to the fact that some of them like to talk shite about Louisiana players they pass on that then choose Bama. So this could be a continuation of that or something about Hootie.
