From the OM Recruiting Thread
quote:
I got word from someone in CJ camp. CJ is likely to stay committed to Ole Miss after a very serious flirtation with Bama.

Flirtation? Pretty sure there was penetration.

I don't like seeing a basketball thread above this thread. The next time one of these is active can it be listed below this one?

I don't know how it works (I guess new stickies end up above older ones) but the game thread last night was the first thing u saw on the board when I checked it. Didn't like it. I want this thread to be at the tippy-top.

BOL is gonna have some recruiting nuggets drop around noon. I'll be on the road back from Jackpot, Nevada, so someone else will have to summarize today.

I know we missed out on Raekwon, but look at SDH's senior highlight film.
Shaun Dion Hamilton Senior Highlight
Kid looks special. He can lay a hit and drop back quickly. Great instincts. Only issue would be getting lost in the shuffle of linemen.
If he was 6'3 he'd probably be a five star.

Tabor visit went well, his parents love Saban. Some say they will be surprised if he doesnt end up Tuscaloosa. Maryland is still in the mix along with Arizona. Terps doing everything they can to keep him at home including neg recruiting.
Pruitt visited Humphrey this past weekend, Free Shoes sources arent overly confident in their ability to land him, it would be an upset to do so. It will be hard for him to turn down the tide when all is said and done.
Hampton interacts with Crob and Hootie on a daily basis, and their word might be better than the Ole Miss commits saying he will stick with his commitment. Look for him to flip Friday, unless we have been misled.
Brown had to cancel his trip to Aggy this past wknd bc his mother was sick. Our visit by CNS on Dec 11 only furthered his admiration for Saban. LSU is still the favorite but he may or may not be the lock he is portrayed to be for that class.
Elam visited Kentucky this past wknd. Is it enough to swing them back to no 1? Kentucky feels he is theirs, while Bama and ND feel that Bama leads. Will he be able to tell Kentucky no?
Fournette arrived saturday, we rolled out the red carpet. He feels he will have playing time as a true freshman anywhere he goes so LSU selling him on only one returning back isnt conclusive. They are obviously still the team to beat.
Big impression made on Rudolph, FSU still the leader, with us possibly being second and the barn right there too.
Wallace is hard to read, visit went as well as one could discern. Alabama and Iowa are the top 2.
Derrick Kelly, Jr. is emerging and has been in contact with Cristobal. FSU still leads. LSU and UF hats in the ring as well. He visits Jan 31
Next big visitor weekend Jan 17: Ronnie Clark, Derek Kief, J.K. Scott, Keith Holcombe, Ross Pierschbacher, Christian Miller, Josh Casher, Dominick Jackson, and Malachi Dupre. Humphrey is friends with Dupre and might come this weekend as well.
The Monroe big 3 passed the naked eye test. Crob is every bit of 6'7 and 340 pounds while Sims was 6'4, 200 and Jones was 6'1, 220. Crobs mama did the "cupid shuffle" with CNS, whatever the hell that is.

I loved the fact that your first response in the first big thread was how you would be there when it all comes crashing down. So many downvotes, so much hope dashed, so much butthurt.
It was glorious.
