I've been doing a little thinking, don't worry I didn't hurt myself, about Elisha Shaw.

He's said multiple times that we are his leader but he hasn't played a down this season due to his neck injury.

When healthy he is a Top 40 prospect. I think we may sign him to a gray shirt offer to see how the neck heals.

Thoughts?

TS you used that as your sig pic?

NAT and Flesh did a good job. I've been wanting to get Salsa's version resized (I could probably do that much) for a sig pic, the one in your sig is my desktop background.

He's very big and physical already about 300 and 6'4 and explosive so he's probably a good 3 tech like A'Shawn not as athletic though and not as strong as Chapman was coming out of Hoover but the same body type. You just don't know how bad his injury really is and what recovery time is for it. He hasn't been CBed at all to Bama though, mostly UGA but that also could be analysts assuming he stays close because of the complications with the injury

Christian Miller had another big night. Kid should end up with 25 sacks on the season.

Marlon returned a kick off 80 yards for a TD.

From OM recruiting thread:

quote:

Neal and Chase posted their first Rebel War Room today... Pretty good stuff in the article but nothing ground breaking... Hampton is going to Florida State this weekend... Neal said that his Bama sources have conceded CJ to OM... I can't imagine an Alabama fan being level headed and saying something like that but I've only met several thousand in my lifetime.

How can the info on some of the other pay sites suck so bad? FWIW the OM 247 site mentions nothing about Bama conceding Hampton to OM.

So we've had a good week recruiting wise (thank you Mr. Hand) yet we are no closer to figuring out who we close with.

I would like to think that we close with at least two 5-stars in Elam and Humphrey. Fournette is still a possibility as is McMillan. Let's not forget that we are in it for Carter too.

We're finalists for at least 4 4-stars in Hootie, CJ, Evans and Wallace. Don't count out Jalen Tabor.

That's 9 players that we have recruited extremely hard. We're at 23 now. Who do we take? Who do we lose?

It's gonna be a helluva ride gentleman.

On TV during the UCLA-Washington game. He had Winston as #5.

What does it mean?

1. McCarron
2. Petty
3. Carr
4. Manziel
5. Winston
6. Miller
7. Carden
8. Lynch
9. Mauk
10. Adams (EWU)

He made it clear that this was just his "stock report", and not an ordered list of the best qb's.

I can see a few of the guys that will almost certainly be in this class would be Hootie, Elam, Humphrey, CJ (got confidence but also timid with him being in Miss) and Rashaan Evans (the one we have the least chance at landing but its still good IMO)

Then there's a couple guys in the group of need positions, 2 top gotta be Tabor or Peppers (still a long shot I feel but worth mention)

Layer of extra icing on the cake would be Leonard Fournette (still not conceding him with all the strong Bama ties but if PT is the main factor we aren't likely gonna land him, but it would be sweet), Gerald Willis (visited Bama more than any other school but might be full class), Charles Mosely (he'd be a G just not active enough of a DL too raw and our OL class is stacked)

I almost added Elisha Shaw but like you said Saint he'd almost certainly be a GS
