Apparently the Aubs are touchy about calling their offense finesse, or a spread.

Look who was rated as a 4-star, 92 point, prospect yesterday:

I haven't followed Tabor's recruitment as closely. How does he compare to Roberts? I know he is a higher ranked cb than him on 247, but what makes him better?
Also, why do most assume that he is a Maryland lock? I know they are the closest school, but has he said that he wants to stay closer to home?

I think Tabor is considered to be a better athlete than Roberts, with higher upside as well.
I know his parents love Saban, but I think distance is going to be a main factor in where he goes.
He's said his favorite was Florida, whereas his parents preferred Alabama. Most assume Maryland will be the compromise.

Tabor has been called stiff by several analyst, not sure that equates a superior athlete. Some think he'd be better as a safety...

He is a much better athlete...think of Roberts more as a Kareem Jackson type smaller CB
Tabor is more physical and athletic hate to make this comparison to an AA but more like Patrick Peterson athletic type CB
BOL national CB rankings this class have Tabor as 4th overall and Roberts as 18th
I think UF was trending early and he has started to listen a little more to his fam about Bama and has let Bama in a little more, and I also think the early thoughts about him wanting and fam wanting him to be close have also cooled significantly and his recruitment has become more open as of late
ETA: I saw those reports Mag seems to me like he is more raw than anything

Ok the obsession is getting ridiculous

It's sad.
But probably not as sad as the fact that they refuse to pay attention to how players actually play. Rickdaddy proves they're just a bunch of stat watchers.

Neither would hold Marlon's jock.
No but really, Marlon >>

So the point being Alabama made Trent and Mark look better than they were and helped them get drafted higher than they might have been had they gone to college elsewhere?
I dont see how that makes us look bad to a recruit.

Besent, Marlon, and Tabor

Especially since Trent has basically been chosen with two first round picks already.

I'd say he's another Dre.
Could be a good press man.
