We will take 27 I believe 2 will be back counted as a possibility
And Holcombe could possibly be a Bryant scholly awarded if he is redshirted but that is an unknown right now

I keep seeing that most expect us to take 25-27. I think how many guys we take depends on how many juniors go pro. We could see a mass exodus this year. If we win it all again, these jrs will have 3 in a row. We could see Hubbard, pagan, d white, cyko, depriest, haha, etc all leave. We have around 13 scholarship seniors (nudie could probably get a medical for last year if he wants it. Since he is now a father I bet he goes pro.)
Of course, some of our current commits may get squeezed out to make room for more high profile recruits. Either way I don't know if we take a full 25 this year.

We will take a full class regardless of how many underclassmen go pro. I think the number is 26 but could be off by 1

Coaches have no intention of Holcombe being a Bryant scholarship guy.

Big Cam is scheduled to announce at 1:30 on Wednesday on ESPNU's College Football Daily show.

By what I have seen out there it looks like we can take 27 this class with 2 counting back. So after Cam(if he commits to UA) we have 7 spots left.

Again, I don't see these two spots. Last year we could only count back one spot so why would they increase this year?

My thinking as well. Signed 25 last year when we could've signed 26 giving us room to backcount 1 in the current cycle: 26

Exactly. The Holcombe kid isn't going to do the Bryant scholarship thing either, so that leaves us with 6 places open.
We need some decommitments.

What facts do you have that shows we can fit that number? Rumors are meaningless when we know the reality and the reality is last year we only had one spot to count back. How did it increase?

2015 commit OLB Mekhi Brown was rated as a 5-star player by Rivals in their initial class ranking.

2010 26 signed (Hill and Belue never qualified, plus Love and Carswell grayshirted)=22 signed/enrolled
2011 25 signed (but Love, Carswell, and 1 more back count plus Carter never signed)=21 signed/enrolled
2012 26 signed-new SEC rules still back count but no longer sign and place( So Hill still counts against 2012 class) but we can back count 4 players, so lets say Yeldon, Cooper, Ely, and Black.=22 players signed/enrolled
2013 25 signed(counting Bozeman because he signed and did enroll later-(even though sites list B Hill as part of the 2013 class the new SEC rules make him count against the prior class) , but we can back count 3 to 2012, so Henry, McCleod and Bateman back count= 22 signed/enrolled
Which brings us to 2014 class 25 plus we can back count 3 into 2013. Now since A Douglas never made it out of the spring and the way the old rules worked there may even be one more spot that can be back counted into the 2011 class. Waiting to get some clarification on that one if I can, by what is out there and made public we should be able to bring in 28 into the 2014 class.
