For someone who doesn't really keep up with the women's team beyond the results, is this season indicative of Curry finally building the program into something sustainably competitive or is it just a senior laden team that will take a step back next season?

Probably the latter but I will say this is the first year we haven’t had injuries

I can't really answer that tbh. I am pretty much a results only guy too when it comes to the ladies. It's hard for me to believe that something finally clicked in year eight that actually turned the program around into something this is sustainable. I guess it's possible though. Looks like this team has eight juniors on it, so maybe they will be pretty good next year too and can use this season and next to get some good recruiting classes and try to keep building on it.

Yeah I agree. I think long term, assuming things continue going well, we will be a lot like Villanova.
On second thought, probably not. They tend to play kinda slow themselves. It's actually tough to make a good comparison to a non-pro team.

Curry has only been to the NCAAWT twice in the last 14 years and hasn't made it out of the first round since 2005.

It’s hard to keep up with the women when you don’t see them often on Tv but I will say they are more athletic now than they have been the last few years ... well several really

No, not at all. If we win Saturday I'd say it's pretty close, though.

I think we’d be a 2 seed lock with a win Saturday. Hopefully it’s a moot point and we don’t lose for a few weeks.
