Until somebody learns how to dribble inside the 3 pt line without charging or throwing the ball away we are going to be really bad on offense.

Picked up where we left off last night on defense.
No perimeter defense.
UNLV getting ez, wide open 3 point looks.

Here’s my issue with how I, and it looks like the players, interpret the offense.

A difficult 3 seems to be a preferred shot to an easy two. Primo has to get to the dish and draw a foul that deep in the lane, not attempt a wild pass to a guy behind the arc. Style or system be damned, that’s just not a recipe for winning basketball.

If we’re going to play that way then the entire offense needs to be built around getting petty and shack open looks, because those are the only good 3 point shooters we have. There’s a reason Reese is always open out there

I had hoped Kira was a nice feature last year, but it looks like he was what made the entire thing work.

I'm trying not to jump off the ledge, but UNLV is a garbage basketball team

Goal is as big as the ocean tonight for Petty.
Feed the hott hand rest of the game.

Bruner needs to play a lot of minutes. I’m not sure I enjoy watching him bring the ball up court, but he does a lot of useful things.

I don’t like the Reese-Rojas lineups. I don’t trust either of those guys.
