It has been sloppy on offense, but at least it hasn't been stagnant.
Energy on the offensive end has been much better today than versus Missouri.

I think SC just outsucked us

I will always argue Herb brings more negatives that positives. The missed layups, no jump shot, and injuries outweigh his hustle and above average D. Can’t wait until he moves on and we keep 5 shooters out there at all times

I wouldn't say awful. SC started the game shooting 7-10, including a couple of 3's. They regressed to the mean after that, and we started hitting some shots.
We clean up the turnovers in the 2nd half, we win by double digits.

USC led 16-5 at one point. After that Bama had flashes of brilliance interspersed with sloppy play and turnovers. Still went into half with a lead after trailing by 11.

Energy/effort/hustle is adequate. Shooting is okay. Unforced turnovers are the once again bugaboo.

Got down 11 to open up. 16-5 at the 5:00 mark. Cold shooting and some really questionable officiating.
Half ended 39-36, so we outpaced them 34-20 over the last 15 minutes.

What are we thinking on Gary - separated shoulder?

I hope it is something Minor.
I would say Him, Keon, and Herb are the 3 best defenders on the team so it would be a big loss IMO

He's elite at many things. He was playing incredible basketball on both ends before his back injury. Well on his way to SEC Player of the Year consideration.

The obvious disclaimer that Oats knows a frickton more about basketball and this team than I do, but I don’t know why Ambrose-Hilton never gets any minutes. Miles is getting more minutes these days, and that’s with us down a lot of big men.
Seems like he just sort of does decent things when he comes in. Nothing that really hurts us, for the most part.
I don’t think he’s seen a second of legit game time since the LSU game (or maybe it was before that). He came in early, he had a terrible (really bad) bailout foul, and that was basically it.
Granted, I could be forgetting some minutes he got at some point.

Herb barely getting 6 inches off the ground and having his shot blocked on that fast break was just sad, man. I’m sitting him vs A&M and Vandy if I’m Oats

Herb needs to rest that back so he wil be ready for post season.
