We definitely need him to get back on track. If teams aren't helping off shooters when he drives, we need to make sure we have all four other guys outside so he doesn't have to beat his man, and then finish over a post defender.

Definitely need to get Keon Ellis some easy looks early to get confidence. He's been great 2 of the last 3 games offensively and he's a weapon on defense, especially against a team like LSU.

Last 3 Games - Shots at the Rim
> Shack - 10/20 (50%)
> Herb - 6/13 (46%)
> Primo - 5/8 (63%)
> Reese - 6/8 (75%)
> JQ - 1/7 (14%)
> Gary - 3/7 (43%)
> Petty - 2/6 (33%)
> Ellis - 3/3 (100%)
> Rojas - 0/1 (0%)
Gotta draw stuff up to get Primo and Ellis to be the single guarded guy attacking the rim. Quick, good quick jumpers, physical and they both do a good job drawing fouls (especially Ellis).
Those 2 and Herb need to be schemed into getting as many of those drives as possible, IMHO. JQ and Shack just aren't physical enough or confident enough in their finishing with hands in their face, which leads to them putting up soft shots that (a) aren't effective and (b) do not draw fouls. On top of that, you want Shack and JQ set up around the arc for kick out 3's when/if they become available.

Plus a turnover rate around 35-40%, of which most are on dribble drives.
Basically all of his dribble drives the last 3 games either end in a miss or a turnover. That's not great for efficiency.

The offense gotta pick it up to finish the season. Don’t need to roll into tournament play like this offensively.

Ala is 16-3 at Coleman vs LSU since 2000.
I would not have guessed that.

The basketball thread's resident Auburn concern troll. This year they suck and we are pretty good so he hasn't been around much.

Hopefully AU Gene's alright.
He was a posting monster during our miserable basketball times.
