We are ranked #1 Haslam's momentum metric.

Oklahoma is 130th.

How is that possible when they are coming off of back to back wins against top 10 opponents?

Jordan Bruner - Able to shoot, not close to being able to play. 2-3 more weeks.

Herb Jones - hasn't practiced since the game.

James Rojas - Didn't practice

Alex Reese - Held out yesterday, better today.

Not really sure tbh. Maybe they were near the bottom before that? Still seems like they'd be higher.

ETA: i'm also not sure what the time period is for that. If it was 7 days they'd obviously be way higher. Maybe it's 30 days?

I have no idea, but the Texas team they beat was missing some key players. That might factor in.

So basically our only two healthy options in the front court are Gary and KAH. Oof. I really hope we can get healthy but it's starting to feel like the grind is catching up to us a bit and we have had some horrific luck from a health perspective.

He sure does love our football team. Wish we could get him a new arena to lock him up. Imagine being like 06 Florida with Urban Meyer/Billy Donovan

I quit on Mark the day I was coaching at a basketball clinic in Florida and he had a time to teach. He essentially taught elementary school level material to a group of high school and college coaches.

I knew then and from talking to him later that he wasn't going to be the answer.

This is the second or third quote from Oats lately about how football kind of dominates everything around the school, but that he likes that he can use it to benefit the basketball program. One day last week on a podcast he mentioned that he liked being able to fly under the radar at a football school. It helped him be able to stay dialed in on the things he needs to do like coach/recruit/run the program and not require him to do as much media that would be required at a big basketball dominant school

Not saying that will keep him here longer by itself, but it's something to add to the list of things that he really likes about his current situation.

Yea that's interesting. And then when conference play starts, if you are good, you generally get a full house of excited fans.
