Alabama is now 8 on KenPom.

With a 54% chance of winning on the road at Oklahoma this Saturday, that is Alabama’s only remaining win probability below 60%.

Villanova having their season fricked up by cancelations might end up costing them a 1 seed. Then again, Ohio State just got into the CFP based on the assumption that they'd have won the games they didn't play.

But we also had to play him without any film. That's a definite disadvantage.

I've been wondering what we might do differently with him in the next game. I think back to Avery putting Herb on Trae Young when we played Oklahoma a couple of years ago with great success. Does Herb have the speed to keep Cooper in front of him? Hell, does anyone? I would imagine Herb's size would frustrate Cooper.

I wish we'd do away with that stupid thing and go back to this one:

Yeah I forgot about them only having played 11 games so far. I guess it would be possible to jump them.

Yeah I think our opportunity to really have a shot at a one seed is largely contingent upon going no worse than 2-1 in our next 3 games and then winning out after that. Unlikely, but possible. We'd have a really fantastic resumé in that scenario. Especially if we get some help from previous opponents.

Herb got called for a few fouls. Petty played him well the last few possessions. Iirc he played solid D and let Cooper overextend himself a few times.

It's going to be very tough to get a 1 seed. I've just accepted that we can be at seed. But the PTSD from being a Bama basketball fan is keeping me from admitting we're that good. But if we meeting winning, even in nights when we play like shite, then it's very possible.

We definitely seen to be the best team in basketball without a 1st round pick in our roster. Though that's based on nothing and minimal insight on the rest of the top 10.

Last year at this time we are debating on if we were gonna get in the tournament or not, and here we are now debating whether or not we will be a one seed.
