Yeah, I think of a lot of it was dictated by Bruner, Herb, Reese and Rojas.

the whole 4 baseline iso at the top thing was very strange.

Didn't we run quite a bit of this in the Tennessee game? I feel like we did or maybe it was another game? It happened once earlier this season that I remember. I think Herb ran a ton of iso drives and had some success with it and we ran it for a large stretch of the second half.

Hasn't Gonzaga played a number of giod ooc games?

Yes. They do every year. Then they hit conference play and their SOS drops like a lead balloon.

I think we have a good shot at a 1 seed if we beat Oklahoma.

I think we start trending for a #1 seed if we're still on our winning streak after playing Mizzou.

We did, but my memory is it was the Florida game.

I thought so, just couldn't remember which game it was.

It could have also been the Tennessee game. I wasn't able to watch that game, but definitely recall watching a game where we iso'd Herb a lot.

We need Michigan, Villanova, and/or Houston to lose a game or two for us to get a one seed, I dont see us jumping a one loss team.

If WKU gets into Q2....79 in NET right now so it’s close. And we only lose 1 more game I think we will be a 1 seed

I don’t see it unless some teams in front of us lose. Oklahoma is probably the only top 25 team left on our schedule unless we play Tennessee again in the SECT, so it’s gonna get harder to move up. I think we will solidly be a 2 seed if we go undefeated or only lose one more game in the regular season.

A one seed is of course possible if we win out but like I said, I think one or two of the top 5 teams would have to lose at least one more game.

Mizzou is #12. Doubt they go to completely unranked.

They lost to Auburn so that will move them down, if we beat them that will probably knock them out of the top 25. They could end up in the top 25 at the end of the season, hard to say.

It would be a quad one win though I should have counted them.

There are only 4 one seeds and Gonzaga, Baylor, Michigan, and Villanova are all pretty much locks for the one seeds right now unless they lose.

Our NET is driven off of what our opponents do as much as what we do. So if all of our opponents play well enough to close out the season we should be right at the top of Q1 wins. I agree we need some of those ahead of us to drop a game or two, but I think that is highly likely except for Gonzaga and maybe Baylor. The Big 12 has several really good teams though, so I could see Baylor tripping up at some point along the way.

Gonzaga and Baylor are just about locks for 1 seeds unless Baylor gets decimated by injuries. That leaves two spots for about 5-6 teams.

Alabama
Houston
Iowa
Michigan
Villanova
Virginia

Hey does anyone know if our cancelled game with Houston gets added to the 2022-2023 schedule or is it gone for good?

It was a home and home series so I assume so, not 100% sure.

I haven't seen anything official on that, but I would think it would go on the 2022 schedule since it was designed as a home and home series and we play there next season.
