I cant really think of any player I want to transfer after this season, which is a good problem to have. I think our roster is good from top to bottom and even the guys who dont get many minutes look like they have a lot of potential.

A pretty cool feeling to like this many guys on the roster. It’s normally few and far between guys I want to stick around

Once upon a time we had Avery Jr. and Daniel Giddens on the court at the same time on a somewhat regular basis. Oats has elevated the talent level of our bench dramatically in just a couple of years.

I think the toughness that Rojas brings has been contagious to the rest of the team

I hope some of his struggles are due to him coming of an injury. The guy is an absolute tank and would be a force if he could get ball skills under control.

I know it's a huge step up from Juco to the SEC but the potential is there, he was a big time scorer in Juco, averaged 24 points per game. These are his game logs.

What I hope is not the case, but may well happen: Oats' answer if he wants to bring in Burnett is one of the younger players wanting to transfer to be a bigger dog in another program.

Certainly would not be an easy choice otherwise. This team is loaded depth wise.

We may be missing the couple of top NBA talents many Wimp years showcased but I can't recall an Alabama team I thought went 12 deep with quality players able to play a big role on a top college basketball team.

That's pretty much what Forbes did, he would've been our 6th or 7th guard in the rotation this year but went to Tulane where he is pretty much their main option at guard.

If we have the option as to who we lose, it should be Rojas. BUT I have a feeling we’ll lose one of the guys on this roster that we like so that they can get more PT elsewhere.

I know I am in the minority but I think Rojas will be a serviceable big man for us. Taking a little to get up to speed from JUCO but he has his moments . Big bodies hard to come by

How are you guys feeling about Tuesday night? LSU is my least favorite Bball program in the SEC and I would love to get a win there. I think we pull it off. I think it'll be around Bama 83 LSU 76.

Alabama is 3 and 0 in true road games this year and LSU is 8 and 0 at home. Bama number 17 in the Net and LSU is 22. Should be a great game.

I expect it to be a tough game. LSU is talented and athletic enough to hang with Bama, even if we’re playing well. They don’t seem to be as consistent as Bama so far in SEC play and they’ve had a few off nights, but they’re good. I’ll be pleasantly surprised to pull out the win in Baton Rouge, but they’ve surprised me all the way through conference play so far.

To be clear, I think we’re the better team right now, but it’s tough for me to say that I expect to win a road game against a good team in conference.

He obviously had a great JUCO career, so the talent has to be there somewhere. I guess it possible the competition wasn’t very good, but he put up some ridiculous numbers.

If all he offers is a big body though, Nate has done a fantastic job adding size and length to the roster. He doesn’t seem as long or athletic as some of the other options right now and from what I’ve seen, he doesn’t offer the same developmental upside. I’d love to see him become a great player, but if it comes down to Rojas or Bediako/Burnett, I’ll take the latter. Just my opinion.

Yeah, it should be an excellent matchup. I don't have a score prediction, but I could see it going either way. SEC road games aren't easy to win and LSU is talented. Watford, Smart, Thomas and Days are all really good.

We are arguably the hottest team in the country right now though and if we play on Tuesday like we have been recently, we can pick up another huge win on the road to add to the resume.

Yeah, it would be a huge win to add to the resume if we get it.

My guess is that it doesn’t come down to that. As others have mentioned, it seems more likely that a young guy further down the depth chart transfers for playing time before Oats has to encourage someone to move on.

I guess there is a very small chance that Primo could turn pro after this season. He was listed as a top 20 pick in a lot of mocks before the season started, he has dropped some, but one mock I saw today had him going 38th.

I do not think he is ready and think he comes back, but players less ready than him have turned pro before. Small chance that it happens IMO, could go up if he has a really good 2nd half of the season.

I feel about 50-50. Tough to expect to beat a good team on the road. However, I do think we're the best team they've played.

Aside from @St Louis and @Florida, LSU has had a pretty light schedule so far. (I just can't include Arkansas in the tough game category regardless of their NET, RPI after watching yesterday's game. We played very well and Arky may snap out of their current dismay but they were a real mess, especially their carelessness with the ball.)

Odd thing is a lot of my family is from New Orleans and a few went to LSU. I've always preferred to see them do well if it's not at our expense. Until Wade, that is. He's about as unlikable as any coach in sports period. Now, there's really no other program I'd rather see fall flat on their face, Duke included.

That said, the most important thing for chasing the SEC title is to at least split the two games with LSU.

Didn’t Primo have a relationship with Bediako and KAH? Or am I imagining that because they’re all Canadian? Wonder if that has any bearing on him returning if he’s a borderline 2nd rounder and Bediako comes to Tuscaloosa.
