Tchikou can hopefully cover Bruners spot.

Looks like we are 28 and UK is 43 in kenpom after today’s games. I’m assuming his numbers would now project a really slim UK win?

That line will swing back our way when the experts get a look. Better team is the 'dog.

I just wanted to say it out loud. Feels good.

Maybe Oats will play the no respect card and we can steal one in Lexington?

Still gonna need to replace guys like Herb and Bruner, Petty too. I'm. Not sure who is next in line to fill those shoes

Think Ellis was recruited to replace Herb. I remember reading, and have seen this year, that they have pretty similar skill sets. I think Holt has that fierce defender potential too. But yeah we’ve gotten beaten somewhat consistently down low defensively. Hopefully Tchichtu (sp?) will be able to step in fully recovered next season to step in for Bruner. As good as we are this year, I think we have potential to be as good or better next year as long as we don’t lose Q and can get Bediako and Cardet.

That's not really Tchikou's game. Wilson is a better fit for that role, although you're trading passing/shooting for athleticism/rim running. It'll look different next year for sure.

We dropped 6 spots in the NET from 22 to 28. Guess Auburn being ranked so low brought us down a little smh.

Don’t winter athletes get another year of eligibility? Bruner isn’t exactly a pro prospect but Herb could be a late second rounder if he can keep shooting at a decent clip. Is there any chance they both come back or am I being delusional?

Nothing wrong with hoping but I don’t see a way either of them come back barring an injury or a lot of missed time this season

Doubtful. Both of them looked at going pro last year and I'd imagine their respective feedback could be summed up as "dude you can't shoot at all" and "yeah you had a good season but it was at Yale. Can you play well against quality competition night after night?", which they have both appeared to resolve in their favor. I don't know that there is anything else either of them could do to improve their draft stock.

That's a hard play against ANY team that's 4-6...even Kentucky.

If KenPom has them beating us, the line is more than likely going to be UK -1 or -2 so that would seem like they perfect time for the no respect card...being an underdog to a 4-6 team

Yep and Oats is always dialed into the Kenpom stuff.

We're going to lose a conference game at some point. Losing to UK @ Rupp wouldn't be detrimental. It would almost assuredly end up as a Q1 loss.

Tongue in cheek really. Interested in seeing how they close out the season. Even with the early losses I was more concerned what we looked like in conference play. It's been great so far.
