We were leading the Clemson game with 6 minutes left and trailed by 3 with 2 minutes left. Pretty sure that was close

Yeah, I guess he’s conveniently leaving that one out because it ended up as an 8 point game?
What is the definition of a close game? 5 point differential in the final score? Two possessions?
Not sure tbh, but I would personally consider the Clemson game as “close”. I mean a two point game with 45 seconds left could easily turn into a 10 point game via free throws by the end of regulation.

Yea, I mean I get what his point was - we fought back over a long period and then pushed through at the end. But it definitely wasn't the only close game we've played

I saw that quote and immediately rolled my eyes. I’ve now learned that Nate may not be the most truthful guy with his answers

I’m going to be extremely butthurt tomorrow afternoon if I watch Stansbury beat us in person
I’m just really hoping we adjust our starting lineup/minute allocation and play with toughness like we showed against Providence and Furman for the 2nd half.

quote:I disagree. Last year was a nightmare when it came down to a possession or two with under 3 minutes left. The thing that impressed me was that the new guys (excl Jones) were the ones to get us over the hump with their grit, hustle and determination. We had none of that last year.

WHAT DO I DO??!!
It’s the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP....I feel like I’ve got to wear it but ITS frickING STANSBURY WE ARE PLAYING IN BASKETBALL...so idk

Wear the shirt. I’d love to win against Stansbury, but it’s the SEC Championship.

Just start the day in the basketball shirt and then change into the football shirt after the basketball game.
ETA: cut them both in half down the middle and sew half of each shirt together. Problem solved.

Rolled my eyes because of the choke job against Clemson and the quote saying it was our first close game, not about actually doing a good job finishing against FU.

I know Mizzou has looked good and Kentucky will get better, but Tennessee is going to run roughshod over the SEC this year.
