I’m trying to force my baby to stay up and watch these games with me because he needs to learn pain and sadness the same way I did.

I can't watch. I just can't get emotionally invested in a team that right now looks like 5th in the SEC is a pipe dream. Nate has serious work to do.

There is no childhood without Bama basketball pain. I still remember listening on the radio and being disappointed. Always seemed like Vandy was the violator. I remember thinking that we played them every other week

My girls are 6 and 9 and they are very aware of the expectations that await them cheering for Alabama basketball along with the Hawks, Braves and Falcons. They will be in for a world of hurt when they get a little older and inherit the Alabama football of our youths, though. They won't know how to deal with that.
Their 7 month old brother, however, he shall be the savior of the program. A 5'11 white kid who can't jump. Alabama basketball's white whale!

Games ending at 10 or later suck period. Makes it impossible to go to the game as well unless you live in Tuscaloosa.
