Oral Roberts is JV Alabama (offensively at least). They don't play quite as fast, but their 3PT Attempts per FG attempts is basically the same.
I think this also shows that the style we both okay can be very advantageous when you are in a tournament format against teams that never see it.

I almost pulled the trigger in Oral Roberts over Ohio State too. Unfortunately I was too much of a pussy to do it

It's odd to me that the fact that Ohio State plays zero defense was just basically ignored all season.
They were 78th in defense. The only team in the top 30 in KenPom with a offensive or defensive unit that bad? LSU defense.

I still think they will win this one. But fortunately I had them losing to Texas Tech in the Sweet16 so I’m still in ok shape if they lose

I just think it's a pretty weak region with most of top seeds having played some not great basketball recently. Baylor hasn't been right since their COVID mess, Arkansas looked bad in the SECT, and Nova is toast without Gillespie.

The whole B1G has been overrated. Their top 4 teams had a combined 2 impressive OOC wins.

Michigan State got screwed over that year. That MTSU team should have been an 11 or 12 and somehow ended up a 15

I remember thinking Iowa was fricked because bad D. Then realized they'd dramatically improved in the 2nd half of the season, and Ohio State had the largest difference between O and D efficiency.
