Agreed. I'm wondering what else he needs to prove. Give him whatever the hell he wants. He's proven he can build a roster. He's proven he can build a program. He's proven he can change the culture to a winning mindset.
What we've seen is due to coaching.
I think you might could say a good portion of Calipari's success was based on talent. I don't think that's what we've seen here. Oats has shown that he can pretty much outcoach anyone in the SEC. That is why I said strongly that while his raise was reasonable, I would have done more. Which SEC coach would we take over him right now? Shouldn't he be compensated accordingly.
I get that he's making a lot for a guy that isn't too far removed from Romulus High School, but I don't want to hear any complaints when some blue blood offers him top dollar and he takes it. We are freaking Alabama. We shouldn't have to take a back seat to any program in any sport.

That's my rant for the day. Sorry for the long post.

Alabama's Josh Primo (knee) "will see how rehab goes this week" before making a determination on if he'll play in the Round of 64 versus Iona, per Nate Oats. Averages 8.1 PPG.

Nate Oats said “somebody from the SEC” told him they could not remember a team stay on the court for as long as Alabama did Sunday to celebrate postgame.
