Colorado is the best FT shooting team in the country at 83.1% on the season and in this conference championship game they are 10/18 (55.6%) and trail by two with 5.8 seconds left.

Colorado probably took their FT shooting fo r granted. Tourney time pressure is different animal. Only defense and effort are constants.

By the way has Coach Saban attended any Alabama BB games this glorious season?
I don't recall seeing him at all. He used to attend games when Avery was here.

And as a side note, one of my biggest wishes for the offseason is that Oats can figure out a way to make Gary a respectable outside shooter like he did with Herb.

I agree and I have to say the last 2 days his FT stroke has looked really good. 4-4 and I don't think any of them touched the rim.

There's probably gonna be more upsets than ever this NCAA tournament.
Neutral court/parity etc...
I doubt anyone had Georgetown or Oregon State winning their conference tournament.

Reminded me of Fred Sanford from the Sanford and Son show. Most of you would probably need to google that to get it.

Free throws will determine this national championship. I freaking hate it, but the refs will dictate the tournament

Let’s go carpet bomb those Corndogs from behind the arc and especially that fat frick Will Wade. I want to destroy them like the first game this season.

IF we win big today and with Livers' injury, any chance Alabama could snag that last 1 seed away from Michigan?

I mean, I know Lunardi is saying no but he's been wrong before...

Also from yesterday (I think I don’t remember seeing this posted last night)

Nate Oats Offers Injury Update on Josh Primo

quote:

Oats doubled down on the pregame reports that Primo is day-to-day with the injury. While he could be back as soon as tomorrow, sitting out and resting for the Crimson Tide's first NCAA tournament game(s) next weekend is also a likely option.

I guess it is possible, but I think it is very unlikely. Would be cool though.

Agreed. He had at least one crutch under his arm in the (great) 2 min video posted this morning.

Alabama Basketball Players: SEC Title Game Appearance Proves that the Hard Work is Showing

“It would mean everything to me,” Reese said. “That’s what we came here to do — me, Herb and J.P. We came in here to change the culture and get us in a winning direction so it would mean a lot. It’s what we’ve been working for. It’s been our goal since we got back to campus.

If you go back and look at a lot of Alabama's close games, the win or loss came down to free throws made or not.
